Yea see, that's the type of statement that makes conservatives correct in saying the left is angry and hates them. It has nothing to do with her being female and brown and everything to do with the fact shes an idiot and her plans have no ability to be put into action. Especially considering one of the good things about trump is that he wasnt a career politician and was supposed to bring a different approach to politics to get us away from the institution of democratic monarchy with the Bush and clinton dynasties.

I'm fine with non politician leaders. But, I still think AOC is an awful example of that working, as is Trump.

How is AOC, a one term congressperson from one district at all comparable to the power of the presidency vested in someone who has so little experience at anything other than wasting his inheritance and doing whatever Putin plans for him?

AOC is very young and was obviously put in office by the Bernie Campaign to be able to travel with him and let him pretend that he's the only person who can bring out the youth vote. And to endorse male candidates against female candidates as is Bernie's wont. I hope that she grows enough to find her own voice and not that of Bernie or his minion Chakrabarti.

I actually said that you repeated Right Wing talking points about a young woman of color--that's about the Right Wing, not you. But truthfully, AOC seems far from an idiot, she seems smarter than you and Psych put together. She's a young kid who figured out the system well enough to somehow got herself elected to Congress in her 20s and to become quite famous. She's assured herself of at least becoming a TV personality if she ever loses her seat in Congress.

Considering the discrimination that women have faced as candidates for even local offices, she seems to have an astuteness that goes way beyond her years. And she has lots of time to change her positions. At her age, Elizabeth Warren was a raging conservative. Bernie Sanders supporters have explained that he doesn't really believe that women like to be raped by 3 men at a time, he just wrote that a long time ago when he was young and stupid. And those are just two politicians off the top of my head.
