Devon still can’t lob the ball either. Och saved him on one but it’s becoming clear he’s a score first guard who isn’t a great passer.

Game was too big for Moss today. But honestly, it came down to free throws. I would like to see free throws shot before the media timeout. Dotson waited about eight minutes and so did Braun. They missed them both too. TV timeouts should not freeze out the shooter. But you can’t guarantee the Ball won’t go live again.

Dotson looked really bad the last few minutes. but (without looking at the stats) I don't think he ever came out of the game. especially after the marcus garrett injury. dude was just exhuasted. you cant expect a guy to play 38-40 minutes a game and finish the last few minutes strong

Garrett's injury doomed us in more than one way.

Bummer. This team has some weak spots that are going to be hard to overcome. Dotson is an excellent player but is a PG who isnt a great passer. And our most unguardable offensive weapon cant be played on offense in a close game due to being one of the worst FT shooters ever.

And we dont have any three point shooters who can be counted on to make a shot.

Another sloppy, mostly self-inflicted loss.

What bothers me is that this likely to be how we play against the first Top 5 seed this team faces in the tourney.

Not very often that one player can lose a game but Dotson managed to do that today.

Name two starting PGs in the Self era that you would take after Devon Dotson. Nadiir Tharpe and.... who else? He is blessed with elite speed but there really isnt any skill that I would consider him to be that good at. Below average passer, turnover prone and below average three point shooter.

Seems like a great kid and is overall scoring well for us because he can just blow past 90% of the guys that try to cover him. But he has so many holes in his game that I cannot see what it is that he would do in an NBA game next season to warrant leaving after this season. Bummer that it's going to happen anyways; he might be a really good college player next season.

It worries me a bit as well. Nova is a pretty good team, but we should have won today. We just blew it at the end with a couple bonehead plays.

We blew it throughout the game with boneheaded play, missed bunnies and no one capable of taking and making threes or making free throws.
