Lost about 25 lbs in 2019. Looking to loose another 25 in 2020.

I'm not obese by any measure, but I'm also not fit/in shape. Hoping to do that for 2020.

I got a personal trainer that I go to twice a week. Kind of expensive, but it keeps me doing it. Other days, I do core and tread mill. I kind of watch what I eat.

I'm going to do everything I can to stay alive through 2020. Hopefully that task won't require much more attention than I've given it the last 25 years.

Word. I'm hoping to do workouts in my house and do runs throughout the neighborhood. Eating is always the toughest part in my eyes. I go through spurts of eating well, then pretty shitty, then kind of in between.

Obviously, celebrating Billy’s 2nd national title and sticking it to the NCAA.

Close second place, getting married in my and my fiancé’s and home country in front of some excellent family and friends.

Now I'm curious, where is your fiancé from?

My sister doing the same thing in 2021. Her fiancé is from Croatia so they're figuring out how to do that.

Congrats, can't wait to celebrate Championship IV...;).

But seriously, congrats on the wedding. Hope your fiancé isn't on this board, she might be upset coming in 2nd, but really, who are we kidding, women come and go, Championships are forever.

Congrats CnB.
Happy for you.
And agree of course to Bill sticking it to the NCAA.

Intermittent fasting. Give yourself a four to six hour window to eat during the day and fast the rest. Once you get adjusted, it is not difficult, and it is almost impossible not to lose weight when you eat your last meal before 5:00PM.

Yeah, I’ve heard avoiding food later in the day helps.

Also try cutting out carbs with dinner. Our bodies process carbs first, so if you eat a bunch before bed your body converts them into stored fat. Protein is slower to process, so doesn’t get stored so quickly. Try a dinner of lean protein with veggies/greens. Or something like that.

But man, ready for this year to be over. Pretty sure it kinda totally sucked for me.

Among other things, on the radar for the new year: summer solstice party with Japhy and defixione, fishing with tradition, and maybe more real life poster connections if anyone else wants to hang.

I've met you, you can stand 25 extra pounds. Congrats on kicking the habit.
