Re: KC Chiefs v Houston
Sounds like Kelce has a 'bruise' and practiced in limited fashion day. Not to much I would worry about that.
Jones is another story. Calf injury, that media was led to believe took place in practice (not a basketball game in the locker room) on Thursday. Did not practice today but given who important Jones is that to me sounds pre-cautionary for holding him back. Mellinger Tweet'd that the Chiefs are optimistic Jones will be a go for Sunday but the next 24 hrs are crucial.
You get the feeling, based on the way this season has gone this is either going to be a another example about relisency and overcoming adversity or you will look back at the '19-20 season as the season of what ifs.

Again, there are no curses in sports. Just poorly ran franchises/teams and poor decision making.holidaysmore wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 2:14 pmCalf injury, that media was led to believe took place in practice (not a basketball game in the locker room) on Thursday.

Just listened to 810 on the way home and Soren was describing the basketball incident he witnessed with Jones. Full participation on Wednesday, limited on Thursday and a DNP today. Makes you wonder. But you are correct that would fall under poor decision making on all parts. Reid should have put an end to that mess in week 1.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 2:43 pmAgain, there are no curses in sports. I have a feeling for as long as the lasts and moving forward basketball games will be removed from the locker room.

Patrick Mahomes is good at basketball.
Re: KC Chiefs v Houston
I figure I’ll be blamed for any loss for suggesting they start this thread for a Chiefs-specific focus. I hope that loss comes next week vs Tennessee.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 2:43 pmAgain, there are no curses in sports. From what I understand, he also wants a big contract.holidaysmore wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 3:33 pmJust listened to 810 on the way home and Soren was describing the basketball incident he witnessed with Jones. I’m REALLY glad they are not playing today.

Not official but it sounds like Jones will NOT go today.
According to NFL network it is now official that Jones is out. You really miss Jones but the Chiefs have depth on the d-line.

That’s so Chiefs.
Your best D-Lineman injured on a bye.

And that’s why you don’t trade Peters and draft picks you could use on secondary.
Re: KC Chiefs v Houston
3rd and long was the killer. If the d keeps giving up 3rd and long, chefs lose.
Re: KC Chiefs v Houston
Just about the worst possible start.
Please dont let this whole sports weekend be like yesterday.
