I hadn't considered that, but now that he's becoming known as a habitual liar, too, it seems like a marriage made in evangelical "Christian" heaven.

Re: Down Ballot: Who You Got?
It's OK to ask a leader from another country to help investigate a politician as long as there is reasonable suspicion. The fact Biden is running for president doesn't mean he can't be investigated by anyone. Now, whether the suspicion is justified I honestly have no idea. I have my doubts, like with almost everything that Trump does.
Re: Down Ballot: Who You Got?
Just curious, does withholding U.S. taxpayer's money in the form of aid appropriated by congress to pressure, i.e., extort*, the leader of "another country", figure into your opinion? Or does the fact that Trump was using our tax dollars for his own personal benefit, and not for America's benefit, not matter?IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 7:24 am It's OK to ask a leader from another country to help investigate a politician as long as there is reasonable suspicion. Damn feral, you’re really putting the bite on illy for this one!
And illy, once you’re done answering homegirl, would you mind offering a response to the question of precedent?
That is, if Trump’s actions regarding the Ukraine are tolerated, what precedent does that set for foreign policy? What if other countries start thinking their aid is contingent upon a favor? or, that a favor might even gain them aid they otherwise weren’t expecting, or that congress didn’t approve?

Stop asking questions and just accept that President Trump is evil, that everything he does is nefarious and malicious, destructive and underhanded. You know, become a Democrat.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 7:24 am It's OK to ask a leader from another country to help investigate a politician as long as there is reasonable suspicion. Do you think that was an appropriate action by the President?

We don't ever work together or share info with other countries to investigate individuals? I find that hard to believe.jeepinjayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 8:47 pmNo, it isn't.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 7:24 am It's OK to ask a leader from another country to help investigate a politician as long as there is reasonable suspicion.

Just curious, didn't we release the funds to them? Because it sure doesn't seem like we extorted them for information if we didn't get any information from them and they still got their aid...Feral wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 7:43 amJust curious, does withholding U.S. taxpayer's money in the form of aid appropriated by congress to pressure, i.e., extort*, the leader of "another country", figure into your opinion? The whistleblower story went public, then Ukraine got their money.

Wow, the information about Parnas and the information he's shared about Yovanovitch. Remember what she testified in the hearings? No wonder they don't want her as a witness.
