Seeing the reverse angle of this play (From high up in end zone) is absurd. He was throwing behind him, behind a big guy chasing him and kept a foot behind the line.
Just insane. And he's my QB for the next 15+ years.

A healthy Mahomes is the best QB in the league.

Versus the Pats and Ravens combined, Tannehill went 15-29 for 160 yards and 3 TDs. Not on play action but total, for the whole 2 games. I doubt he garners a ton of concern regarding their play action.Gqcolorado wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 1:31 pmBecause once run is established it opens up play-action, which Titans have executed well.twocoach wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 1:12 pmWill Jones really be as inclined to freelance vs. Ryan Tannehill? It's obvious that running the ball is Plan A for the Titans. Why would Jones dismiss that and try to get to Tannehill?holidaysmore wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 10:16 am Texans have nothing to lose and much like they have done all playoffs should embrace that underdog role.
The game on Sunday is pretty simple. Chiefs get out to an early lead and slow down Henry it will be the greatest party in KC history. (that includes the Royals winning it all) They let the Titans hang around and Henry gets going we will be talking about how the Chiefs blew the franchises greatest chance to advance to a place they haven't been since the 70s.
I do agree that Jones has a tendency to free lance which against a team that runs zone schemes can KILL you. That being said I would rather have him for situational pass rushing or the Titans having to double team him then not. Now if he can't go I trust Pennel, Williams, Nadi and Saunders to get the job done.
For reference, versus the Texans in just the 2nd and 3rd quarters, Mahomes went 12-19 for 175 yards and 4 TDs.

What's wild about it is that he didn't just keep a foot behind the line...he created a record of it.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 3:30 pmSeeing the reverse angle of this play (From high up in end zone) is absurd. Ok. If it comes to it, and there are 8 in box keying the run, you’ll see.twocoach wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 3:42 pmVersus the Pats and Ravens combined, Tannehill went 15-29 for 160 yards and 3 TDs. This play is why everyone should root for Mahomes. He’s something special.jfish26 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 3:47 pmWhat's wild about it is that he didn't just keep a foot behind the line...he created a record of it.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 3:30 pmSeeing the reverse angle of this play (From high up in end zone) is absurd. Re: KC Chiefs v Tennessee
Impossible to parse out. I would say that, had the Bears drafted him, he wouldn't be anywhere close to this good.
But if you dropped him onto the Bears next year, with him being pretty much fully-formed, I think he'd be excellent (if limited by the surrounding cast).

Defense. Rebounds.

If it is going to come down to Tannehill's arm...….Gqcolorado wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 3:58 pmOk. I hear ya, and don’t disagree, but it’s not necessarily as damning as one might think
