It's good to see the Chiefs continue to adjust, just like Bill Self often does with his squad. I think I read the Chiefs only gave up 7 total rushing yards in the 2nd half yesterday to Henry after giving up over 60 in the first half.

I could see a similar path in the Super Bowl... SF wins the 1st quarter while the Chiefs and Mahomes feel out the SF defense to see what they are doing. The Chiefs adjust and win the 2nd quarter, forcing SF's QB to have to make plays while KC's offense continues to press their advantages. Then the Chiefs really step on the gas in the 3rd quarter while Jimmy G struggles to make enough throws to keep up and then KC grinds it out to finish up the win.

KC has one of the best screen play and short pass designers in the NFL in Reid, one of the best mid range weapons in the NFL in Kelce, the best deep threat in the NFL in Hill and then you have Hardman and Watkins to mix in at every level of the offense. Mix in some timely runs by Williams and Mahomes and best of luck to any defense.

The KC offense is rolling. They are adjusting in-game, every game to every opponent. I just dont know if Jimmy G has enough to keep KC from pulling away in the late 3rd, early 4th quarter.

I don't wear a lot of team logo sports stuff. I have my Royals hat for yardwork and my Jayhawks tshirt, and that's it. I figured I needed a Chiefs tshirt so I ordered on today. Delivery date is Feb 3.

Had to dig around my closet after 2 downsizing moves to finally find something Chiefs. Wore it out to breakfast and to the grocery store yesterday and not one person commented.

Father in law is A Chiefs fan. Stopped at Rally House in Topeka and got him a hat and hoodie. I know he has nothing in his wardrobe. I suspect he’ll wear proudly next two weeks.

I was up before my dad, first thing he said to me when he came into living room was, ‘super bowl baby’. My response was Fuck the Chiefs! He told me he was happy the conversation was lent reversed, bc he’s have replied same way.

He was 28 last time Chiefs in Super Bowl. Seeing his reaction was pretty alright.

Have worn the same chiefs polo and jeans the last month or so that they’ve played. Best believe I’m busting it out again on February 2nd.

I don't know if that makes them more or less fearful than a titans comparison, but SF is just the first team Chiefs have seen that truly doesn't have a glaring weakness.
I think Shanahan will stick to his game plan and not 0njc like Vrabel did. And, Niners D is legit. Should be exceptionally entertaining game.

Wonder if the Chiefs could run Holtus play by play with no delay so we avoid Buck/Aikman? Fox really is a lesser option this year.

Some fun matchups happening this week.

Dee Ford going against his old team.

Frank Clark going against old NFC West rival.

It's the Montana, Bono, Smith and Grbac bowl.

A top notch defense going up against a top notch offense.

I am freaking pumped. Probably the best matchup the NFL could have asked for. 2 well known franchises. 2 classic uniforms. A star in Mahomes against a fun and fast team in San Fran.

I was set to go, but the group has now decided to fork over $8000 per ticket with fees.

If anything, I'd expect the FM feed to be ahead of the TV feed.

I can't stand Joe Buck, but I'd take him over Holthus's weird ass every day.

I wish the Super Bowl was like the CFB championship were you had the option for each home teams radio broadcast or my favorite the coaches tape. That would be amazing to listen to four active NFL coaches talk about what they see going on during the game.

Of course it is the Super Bowl. For the casual fan the commercials can be just as big of draw as the game even though this year I have a feeling it will be much different.

You might get a pretty close sync with OTA antenna and the radio. Or buffer the online radio feed to match.

Aikman's not my favorite, but still think he's adequate for the Super Bowl. Could you imagine having the low production value ESPN crew on the game?
