KU vs K-State : Official Big12 #6 Game thread
Re: KU vs K-State : Official Big12 #6 Game thread
Block looked clean.
Re: KU vs K-State : Official Big12 #6 Game thread
Why?
I've said repeatedly that I thought he was absolutely right to stand over him. The rest is what it is. I don't hate him for it...he's just going to have to accept the consequences for his actions. That's life.
Re: KU vs K-State : Official Big12 #6 Game thread
If this happens during the game, the entire KSU bench is ejected and Silvio gets a Tech. Play on.

Looks like this will force Slef to use one big lineup for a lil while, right?
Especially if McCormack gets anything for running in like he did.
That’d make some here happy.

Bill mentioned something disturbing.
Brawl went down in the handicapped zone.

Defense. Rebounds.

I'm impressed how fast Case and Bechard made it over there.
I suspect the team is happy they stuck up for each other and would do it (clear the bench to defend their teammate) again assuming it isn't March. Looks like Dotson led the sprint for his boys. And Silvio ducked away when attacked (then grabbed a chair and dropped it).
Just my theories.

Block was ruled clean. Called for taunting for standing over the guy.
Defense. Rebounds.

Yeah worst thing of all. He had to compose himself there.

After my Titans lost to Chiefs Sunday, thought maybe beating up on little brother would make me feel better.
Didn’t want to literally beat them up.

TIME OUT!
Some of you are getting mad at me.
Let me just say I like the kid. I don't have an issue with him - other than his making a mistake tonight.
I don't blame him for his "guardian" taking cash. I don't blame anyone for supporting him.
I do blame Self and KU's compliance and "due diligence" people for the mess we are in today - partially due to his being a KU Basketball player.
As I said, I happen to feel they should have cut ties immediately following their knowing there were NCAA violations concerning him. Yes, I think that would have been harsh and a shitty thing to do but sometimes you have to make a really tough choice and decide what is best for the program in the present and the future. Cleary the powers that be didn't/don't agree with me. That's cool. No sweat.
College Basketball is an ugly business.
That's all. Carry on.

The bigger question I have is why do these guys have to prove their machismo after a block like that? Depression? Testosterone imbalance? Impressing your crew? Gangster rap?
There must be some psychoanalytical explanation for why you'd make a great play then feel compulsion to rub your balls in the guy's face while he's on the ground.
Perhaps it's, as some have said, playing time frustration. Doesn't KU have the resources to address these mental health issues with its players who are on the ledge?
I literally don't even give a fuck about about any of this

Playing to the buzzer is a two way street. If that’s what KSU was doing then what was DeSousa doing? Then some thug in street clothes comes flying out of nowhere. Fuck those hayseeds.

Our guy Gasnolla was helping him commit some of the violations. So there's that. Why would we stay away from a guy for him doing exactly what it appears we did relatively regularly?Grandma wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 9:02 pm TIME OUT!
