If you pick the ball up and pass it to a guard then you don't have to go block the lay-up and act like you're Mutombo.

This is the best angle of the whole thing. KState player wants to steal the ball and try to score, fine. Silivio wants to block the shot, fine. Standing over him and flexing isn't the smartest way to celebrate but he's not the first person to ever do it and he got the technical foul for taunting he deserved. But this video shows he had two KState players in his face and didn't throw a punch until after one of them punched him in the chest and threw him down.

What the video doesn't show (or at least doesn't show clearly) is the lady on the floor trying to hold Silvio back and the handicapped/disabled kid 4/5/6/7/8 feet behind him in/on the scooter.
There were people panicking and yelling at the players to stop.
That my friends and enemies is what I feel will garner a severe punishment.
The fact that no matter who's fault it was, the fight went in to the stands. 100% unacceptable.

I hope after you calm dow that you realize this isn’t KU vs. KSU - it is about kids and character. Both sides screwed up; both sides showed lack of character; both will be penalized. I hope for a KU victory every time, but this kind of stuff transcends jersey color and wins/losses. It saddens me that people don’t get that.

You added a lot of your own take on that which will have zero bearing on the Big 12 decision. For all you know, that lady is just trying to keep herself from falling over, not "trying to hold DeSousa back".
