Doing HIS thing. Not trying to be anything else. Best story of the 2020 NBA season. And to more than just KU homers.

Beast mode activated. He's in a great spot too. Team may not be very good, but he's going to put up huge numbers and is going to get himself a Terry Rozier type contract when his current deal is up.

I was kind of surprised LeBron has such a big lead in total assists. 424 LeBron. 339 devonte. 337 simmons. 334 Luka. 315 Trae.

Pretty elite company right there....goes to show, that while sometimes it's the right call to go early to the NBA, the most IMPORTANT thing whenever they do go is being capable of contributing and being capable of developing your game thru hard work. He had a relatively quiet first year, worked hard over that season and the offseason, and came back ready to contribute effectively and efficiently. I think I've even seen where their coach said it caught everyone by surprise and they sort of had to adjust their thinking about their roster/rotations/etc. Good problem to have. He's going to get PAID if he keeps this up.

Are Kieff’s numbers down?

And isn’t Devonte still on some second round peanuts deal?

Yes. Kief numbers aren't down due to him playing poorly (from what I've seen), just a result of playing behind Drummond and Blake Griffin. He's had some decent games when those guys have been out, but he's not getting a ton of minutes, and when he does its with the DRose unit a lot of the time, so not a lot of usage. Nothing to worry about, rumors of teams trying to get him....also chances the vets ahead of him get moved. Lakers have been rumored to be interested in Marcus and Markieff. Not together necessarily (or even likely)....but looking for that kind of stretch 4man (even though Marcus can play the 3 too).

Yes. Devonte needs to keep up his production and not get injured for another year.

Not another year.

D'Tae will get a extension offer this summer. Whether he takes it or not is interesting to think about, but I bet he jumps on it and stays home. It's just his personality.

Marcus back from injury to have 17 points and 3 rebounds in 33 minutes.
Unfortunately Oubre is in concussion protocol and didn't play last night.
Cheick played 15 minutes and had 2 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 3 steals.

Wow Wiggins! Glad to see him getting back in the groove after being out a handful of games with the flu.

He's obviously having a great season. #33 in the league in scoring. #6 in the league in assists.
One thing that goes ignored is Devonte very well may be in the lower 10% of FG shooting in the league.
He has a very respectable 3pt% (38.9) but his FG% (38.1) is abysmal. Why?
As always, thanks for pointing out his flaws.
It's not a flaw. In the NBA your 6ft PG doesn't need to be taking a bunch of 2s. Layups and 3s is all he needs to do scoring wise.

He is in good company.
