Will the meter finally stop on the mileage that Shaka has rung up from a single fluke win?

I agree his meter should stop running by now but "a single fluke win"? Not too sure I agree with that.

At VCU
2011 Tournament beat 6 seed Georgetown, 3 seed Purdue, 1 seed Kansas.
2012 Tournament beat 5 seed WSU.
2012-2013 season beat ranked Memphis and ranked Butler.
2013-2014 season beat ranked Virginia and ranked St. Louis.
2014-2015 season beat ranked Northern Iowa and ranked Davidson.
At Texas
2015-2016 season beat #3 UNC, #17 ISU, #6/#10 WVU (twice), #15 Baylor, #3 Oklahoma
2016-2017 season - Maybe should have been fired for going 11-22 and not beating a single ranked team.
2017-2018 season beat #16 TCU, #8 TTU, #12/#23 Oklahoma (twice), #20 WVU
2018-2019 season beat #7 UNC, #20 OU, #11 KU

Hey, don't forget, the guy wins championships. CBI and NIT championships.

I’d love Shaka at any other Big XII school. The conference is so much better when Texas is a top 15-20 team every year. Shaka’s dumbass will never get them there. He’d be a great fit at ISU

His conference finishes are far more indicative and you know exactly what I mean: without the KU win, he's still a mid-major coach.

VCU was already built.

You very well may be right that without the W vs KU he might still be a mid major coach.
He's definitely proven that he's not the flavor of the month anymore.
I laugh that my Indonesian Texas alum co-worker came in this morning and was going off on me about Hudy. It's kind of a joke between us but he was legitimately pissed about the 38 point loss to WVU. I don't blame him. 100% inexcusable.

I'm most surprised that dook fell as far as they did.

I mean, they should have fallen that far. I'm surprised that it happened.

Dook should not have fallen that far just for falling short at Clemson.

Clemson is really good, they beat dook!

KenPom still has KU as the pretty clear #1 team.

Also has Devon Dotson as the leader for POY.

Not only haven't they won a game this decade, they are currently in 15th place in the ACC.
I shake my head that Roi has 4 burger kids coming to UNC next season.
Maybe he told them MJ is taking over for him?

To be fair, I'm pretty sure they haven't played a single game this year with their full team. To sum up how the season has gone, a career scrub has been thrust into the starting lineup and become one of their best players until he got hurt in a car accident. The active teams they've thrown out this year make KUs team last February look full strength.

Well, we know who an early leading candidate for COY is.

Yup. What an ending earlier.

I usually don't like the big 10, but they're probably the top conference this year in a lot of people's eyes.
