This city is ready!
I was living in Denver during the Manning years and it was a different vibe when those teams were making their runs. I could have cared less but even coming from someone who hated those teams it was still fun to be in the city at that time.

It's fine, but obviously derivative and doesn't even do it as 2/3 as well as the first guy.
Re: KC Chiefs v San Fran
San Francisco is pretty much the same team that the Chiefs were up 35-10 on in Arrowhead. Rewatching that game, a lot of sweeps and cut-back runs. Against a terrible defensive scheme. San Fran has always been like the Vikings in Chiefs history: handled. Kind of the opposite of the Cowboys, Packers and Giants. The Chiefs can beat themselves, but should win handily. This is like KU and the tourney. I feel KC wins 7 of 10. We hope for the odds against the 30%.

Don't even need to know the team to know this is incorrect. SF is not some AFC 6 seed that needed help to get in. #1 seed getting there by beating good team after good team and (like the Chiefs) have demolished their 2 playoff opponents. Only one star on offense, but make up for it in flawless execution and new age coaching. 7/10 talk is absurd with a 1 point line. It has a great chance of being a game for the ages.Sparko wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 11:58 am San Francisco is pretty much the same team that the Chiefs were up 35-10 on in Arrowhead. I'm also quite certain 49ers fans are content with their side of the Chiefs/49ers relationship.

Bullshit. You don’t even remember the age of Wilcox. I have watched the Chiefs in about every game since the beginning of 1969. I feel trends and such pretty well

You don't need to be an old boomer to see the trend of 7 conference titles, 5 Super Bowls, and being better after sending Montana, Grbac and Smith packing.
Re: KC Chiefs v San Fran
As a Viking fan, I forgive you. They do not intimidate like other teams in Chiefs recent or past history. They lost to KC in Young’s SB year against Montana.
Re: KC Chiefs v San Fran
Who is San Fran's star on offense?
Don't say Mostert or Jimmy G.
I'm guessing you're thinking Kittle?
If so, fair, but even at that position, we're better.

High on Kittle. 2nd or 3rd best player in game.
Re: KC Chiefs v San Fran
Mahomes >>> Kelce > Kittle > Bosa > Hill > Sherman

Had the same argument about Esky in the 2015 Royals season. It takes 50 years to have 50 years of experience. It is not a slight but a fact. Boomer. Meh. I was an early millennial

Kelce and Kittle are close. Both better for their respective teams scheme as Kittle is the better blocker.
