You'd think the NBA would do everything to keep the next coming of Jesus out of a meaningless exhibition so soon after being cleared for contact.

Advertise he's playing. Get viewers. He plays 5 minutes. Well played, NBA.

Yeah. Felt the same way. Diminishes the efforts of those who earned it. At the same time, I suppose it also produces more “viewership“ for those who earned it too. Already the low point of All Star weekend.
Unless it's been cancelled, I'd say the celebrity game is the lowest of the low points.

Dammit. I’ve hit a new low.

Looks like the Ruffles sponsorship is the biggest name there.

Celeb game not even being played at the United Center. Contrary to public belief, I will not be playing.
Rising Stars relatively easy and affordable ticket to obtain. I will probably go.

Games played 2/1/20
Wiggins 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, team worst -16.
Marcus 28 points, 6 rebounds, team best +14.
Joel 11 points, 5 rebounds, team worst -25.
Devonte' 8 points, 9 assists.

Joel getting called out. I think Brown is the guy who should be the scapegoat. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/286 ... vs-celtics

I watched most of that game. The entire Philly team couldn't hit open jump shots. Simmons was the only person that had a good shooting % and that was because his were dunks or layups. It was failure as a team not one person. 36% FG and 22% 3PT. They did good shooting free throws 89%. Ugly game.

I say this every year, I don't believe a single thing in terms of "rumors".
Only people who truly know what is being discussed are the owners, GMs, and agents.
Shit, Joe Crowley who writes for the Sun Times is advocating for the Bools to acquire Embiid.
How the f is that supposed to happen? Who would the Sixers want in a trade for him? Pippen and Rodman?

They could take a page from the Rockets and trade Embiid for Denzel Valentine.
