As the Royals proved...
Flags fly forever.
Flags fly forever.

The Chiefs have a decent chance in a few years to have become the team that no other city can stand.
That’s not a bad thing for you all.

Bring it the FUCK ON!
Everyone is going to hate my QB. While he continues to smile big, drop dimes and be unstoppable at every turn.

Re: Chiefs SuperBowl Champs
Reid and Mahomes are infinitely more likeable than Bill and Brady though.

I’d feel the same.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 3:46 pm Bring it the FUCK ON!

Re: Chiefs SuperBowl Champs
You like Mahomes a lot more than Brady, I like Mahomes a lot more than Brady, and most on this site probably like Mahomes a lot more than Brady, but I'm not 100% convinced the majority of rest of the world feels the same way. Maybe they do. I just wouldn't bet my left nut vs. a $1000 on it.
Re: Chiefs SuperBowl Champs
They do.
Brady's likeability score is well below an average NFL player.
Polled at 53% a few years ago, 86% is the average.
There are clearly fans who adore him but the dude has a lack of personality and a holier-than-thou image.
He's the GOAT but he's not likeable.
He's never eaten a strawberry.
"The other 20% is lean meats: grass-fed organic steak, duck every now and then, and chicken. As for fish, I mostly cook wild salmon."
"No white sugar. No white flour. No MSG."
"I'll use raw olive oil, but I never cook with olive oil. I only cook with coconut oil. Fats like canola oil turn into trans fats."
"I use Himalayan pink salt as the sodium. I never use iodized salt."
"No nightshades, because they're not anti-inflammatory. So no tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms or eggplants. Tomatoes trickle in every now and then, but just maybe once a month. I'm very cautious about tomatoes. They cause inflammation."
"No coffee. No caffeine. No fungus. No dairy."
"Prefers not to eat fruits."
"We stick to gluten-free for everything."
Fuck that.

I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like Mahomes, and I live in Broncosland.
3-4 more Championships though, and ppl will dislike

Re: Chiefs SuperBowl Champs
For sure -- consistent winners will get haters.
But until the Chiefs get caught ~3 times cheating, one of which directly involve the QB ( who promptly destroys his phone and doesn't cooperate ) , and until Reid becomes an absolute asshole to the media, and threatens to completely shutdown radio stations, and until Mahomes marries a looney supermodel who blames her husband's loss in a Super Bowl on his supporting cast, I think generally Mahomes can stay in a more positive light.

Skip Bayless.
I am, I said.
Re: Chiefs SuperBowl Champs
Skip thinks Tebow should still be starting for the Broncos.
Re: Chiefs SuperBowl Champs
One cannot apologize for winning too many championships. However, I don't want KC to become hated like New England. But maybe it's because New England has a lot of douchy people and people don't like their coach? I don't really have anything against Tom Brady.
Re: Chiefs SuperBowl Champs
Hard time seeing people hate the Chiefs. But Chiefs fans? That can happen real fast.
I am, I said.
Re: Chiefs SuperBowl Champs
I don't think anyone will go on a run like the Pats and Tom did, so this hypothetical is likely moot, but it's impossible to win consistently and eventually be hated by some.
If you're a good organization with charismatic people at the top, the 'hate' can be mitigated.
In the end though, the Pats fans give zero fucks what everyone else thinks, they love Bill, Brady and the titles that came with them.

Re: Chiefs SuperBowl Champs
I hated the Bills when I was a kid. How odd was it that they lost 4 super bowls in a row? We will likely never see that again. After they mocked our tomahawk chop, I'm glad they lost 4 in a row.
Re: Chiefs SuperBowl Champs
I’m so glad he went to fox sports. I don’t even see him by mistake anymore like I did when he was o. ESPN. And paired with Sharpe? Yuck.Soklous wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 5:17 pmGqcolorado wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 5:07 pm I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like Mahomes, and I live in Broncosland.
