I am familiar with Nate Silver. Same guy who predicted that Dowdy the Clown would win in 2016 - 98% certain, if memory serves. The more you learn about statistics the more you realize that they are easily manipulated and can say pretty much whatever you want them to say. It's a tired gambit.

And, by "anything," I mean that Brett Kavanaugh is a serial rapist who is unfit to serve on the Supreme Court and that the President's rhetorical rantings are a "dog whistle" meant to call a group of dimwitted, racist outcasts to arms. The events of the past month are a shocking portrait of the desperation behind the scenes of those who are terrified of a populist movement in our governmental system.

That's an entertaining read; I certainly tip my hat to the mental gymnastics. None of it is reality but it got a chuckle out of me nonetheless. Well played. If you could have been a little more subtle instead of blatantly overdramatizing the points then it would have been even more clever. It's too easy to sniff out sarcasm when you drown it in that much dramatic excess. But I know taking things to 150% is how it's done these days so it is what it is.

Can you find him with a simple Google search? Next, if I took a photograph with Louis Farrakhan does that make me a Muslim? The claim is Facebook is trying to take down the photo - and yet your post has been up for over 7 hours without being removed. Well Joe, I am going to respectfully respond to you. It's my feeling that if you are going to take the time to try and play detective and share it with the world, it's usually a good idea to know how to spell your subject's name so you don't come off as being clueless and ignorant in the process. Maybe you and I differ on that. I actually am somewhat involved in politics and deal with politicians who are both Republican and Democrats. I consider myself to be an independent but if I took a pic with a Republican/Democrat then I am automatically assumed to be a Republican/Democrat and I am "guilty" by association? The photo of Sayoc and Hernandez may or may not be photoshopped. Do we know for sure? What I do know is that YOU nor ANYONE else other than those who were there in that assumed non-photoshopped pic know for sure when and where that photo was taken. You just assume it was "a year ago" at a "banquet" because the person with an agenda posted that it was taken a year ago at a banquet. Maybe it was. Maybe it wasn't. Either way, we are taking someone's (who ironically isn't identified in Joe's post) word for it. I am going to go ahead and assume the Izzy Hernandez in the photo is the same Izzy Hernandez who is the "well known" soccer coach in North Carolina. I can't find anything in a Google search that identifies his political affiliations nor contributions. Please feel free to do a search and provide me with that information and please share the image search you came up with in terms of the specific photo with Sayoc and the source that identifies them as being together. Thanks in advance.
