The least popular senator in the nation has second thoughts:
"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."

It tells me that Mittens is a soyboy who is always willing to sell his soul to the highest bidder. Pretty much what I already knew.

Any other thoughts on why the vote for abuse, but against obstruction?
How does mittens shrug off the refusal to cooperate with congress? Especially if he thinks the abuse warrants conviction, wouldn’t that warrant further investigation?

MoscowMitch providing some valid points.

Smart enough to know Dems have had this impeachment planned since the moment they knew they lost.Feral wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 2:57 pmThat's because you're not very smart.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 2:55 pm MoscowMitch providing some valid points.

Also smart enough to accept the outcome of the impeachment.
Tbh, maybe a half year of Pence in charge is just what the right needs...gives them a little time to get Kanye ready for November.

The fact even Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, who both hate Trump, vote not guilty is interesting. Half these republicans can't stand Trump. They'd love to get him out of office.
What a joke of a sideshow circus.
48 guilty
52 not guilty

So what's next?
First Mueller report...didn't like the findings in that....so now this.....not going to like the outcome of this....so now what's the move? Gotta be something else to investigate so he can be removed from office, right?

I don't know how Cruz can look his wife in the eye, or live with himself after Trump called her ugly, and accused his father of being involved in President Kennedy's assassination. And not only that, 4 years ago after Cruz won the republican presidential primary in Iowa, Trump accused him of fraud.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 3:17 pm The fact even Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, who both hate Trump, vote not guilty is interesting. Romney's decision to vote for conviction made it easier for Manchin and Sinema to vote yes. Jones had already announce he would vote to convict, before Romney's announcement.
First bipartisan vote to convict in our nation's history.
