I guess the Speaker is about to get what's coming:

Have to agree with you on that one. She made an enormous ass of herself in front of the entire country. That should be punishment enough.

She only tore it in half, the factcheckers shredded it.

Matt Gaetz needed some way to try and divert Trump's anger at him over voting for the Iran War Powers resolution. Guess this is it.

Agreed. Also seems like a whole lot of butthurt in American politics on both sides - and as a country we should be ashamed.

Last night Trevor Noah announced Trump had been acquitted on his show. The majority of the audience booed. Noah said, "Don't boo - vote". Problem is people did vote and that's why the assholes who are in office are in office.

actually, not enough people voted and that’s why we have a scandalous idiot in the WH

too bad our elections aren’t important enough to make sure everyone is able to vote...ya know, like by making it a national holiday (among doing other things)

For those upset that Rush received that award instead of the Tuskegee Airman McGee.....did you know earlier that day McGee was promoted to Brigadier General McGee? Rarely are people promoted in retirement. He also received the Congressional Gold Medal in 2011 by President Bush.

Just wanted to let you guys know. Since so many thought he was somehow slighted in all of this...turns out, he wasn't at all. He had a heck of a day himself. Especially since the medal of freedom gets passed out like candy to celebs and less deserving people like Rush.

nobody thought the airman should’ve received the award

he was used as an example to point out just how undeserving rush is/was in relation to just about everyone else in attendance

it shouldn’t be that hard to understand

By your standard. Unfortunately for you, the standard for awarding the Medal of Freedom is essentially whether or not the sitting POTUS thinks the individual is deserving. You would disagree with any choice he made just because it was DJT.

I don't disagree with your assessment of why we have the scandalous idiot in the WH but
when I said assholes I was referring to pretty much the majority of all federally elected politicians and especially those in the Senate who chose to put their party ahead of their country and what is right and wrong.
That's why I said assholes (plural) and that's why the President was acquitted.
I also agree with you that election day should be a national holiday and I'm not sure how it could/should be done but it would be nice if EVERY eligible voter cast a vote.
Of course we could (should?) also discuss the pros and cons of the electoral college. I'll spare my feelings about that - for now.

It's a damn good thing that gerrymandering is a hoax.

The closer we inch to November 2020 the more unhinged the deviants and malcontents become. This place included.

The social media’s. Network news. Cable news. Becoming ever more unbearable. Lots need to be ashamed.

LOL @ the video showing Pelosi had sort of "pre-torn" at least some of those pages.

Political theater. Premeditated. Well done.

Is it based on equal population areas?

You don't want states? You can move to any state you'd like if you don't think your state gets a fair say.
