In my line of work you see a lot of tattoos people have had for a long time, and many are embarrassed by them and wish they'd never got them in the first place.

Arizona Man Caught Driving In The HOV Lane With Fake Skeleton Riding Shotgun

Re: This Happened To Me Once:
There is an urban legend in the SF Bay Area that there is some Marin County lawyer who is riding around in the HOV lane with corporate incorporation papers riding shotgun. The thinking apparently is that he will use it to challenge Citizen's United because his corporation is a person and therefore he is not violating the "two persons" rule for using the HOV lane.
I have frequently seen a skeleton riding on the back of a motorcycle on a highway I use everyday - I think it's just a decoration because motorcycles are allowed to use the HOV lane with just one person.

Oops:
(But, considering how chill pre-med students are, mistakenly admitting 8 times the actual class size is likely, no big deal.)
Mayo Clinic Medical School Mistakenly Accepts 364 Applicants
On February 13, the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine erroneously emailed 364 letters of acceptance to students seeking admission to the medical school.
Soon after the emails were sent, the school said a technical error was discovered and the letters of acceptance were withdrawn by email. All affected applicants have been contacted by phone.
"We deeply regret having caused disappointment and stress to these applicants and we are continuing to investigate the issue," the Mayo Clinic said in an apology statement posted on its website.
The school mistakenly sent out acceptance letters to everyone who was interviewed, according to a report by CNN.
Admissions Dean J. Michael Bostwick, MD, told CNN that the school typically makes offers to just 46 students and initial offers are always made by phone.
"It's awful. We're still not clear how this happened and we're so upset for these folks," Bostwick told CNN.

Neurosurgeons often keep people awake during brain surgery, (known as an awake craniotomy), in part to be able to assess their response to the surgery as it progresses. Even though the patient is conscious during surgery, they don't feel any pain. The brain doesn't have any pain receptors and a local anesthetic is used to numb the scalp.
