Man, for those who are strictly Democratic, I feel sorry for you. Your field sucks again.

People who prefer qualified candidates with actual real-world experience?
People who can get through an entire sentence without using the work "like"?
People who know what it means to earn a living in the real world?
Trump is all that??? What/when was the last grammatically correct full sentence that he uttered? At least when Giuliani spoke there was "a noun, a verb, and 9-11". When Trump speaks there are lies and ?????????
What "real world" experience does Trump have besides money laundering and bankruptcy - how does one bankrupt a casino? If you mean getting prosecuted for racial discrimination is real-world experience then I guess Trump is your man.
ZSN won the entire internet today.
I’ll repeat myself for the zillionth time: DJT was the least objectionable among two crappy choices. He has disappointed me even though I had low expectations going in. I remain thankful we don’t have Dowdy in the White House. I’ll take what I can get.

Bloomie's gonna regret ever getting into politics.

I mean, I get it. You’re correct. But I’m mainly taking about the one thing Trump did that nobody can deny is that he got an entire base fired up. I don’t see any of that in these candidates. Could happen, but just tough to see it.
These people are going to have to improve quite a bit and rally with each other to even come close to getting elected.

I agree, I was just giving you shit.
But then again, what does it say about us that Trump is even being considered, after what he's done since 2016?
"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."
Trump only still has consideration because of a Congress with no backbone and people celebrating him because of built up anger they’ve had against politicians for years. He gave them a vessel for their frustrations and he ran with it.
Republicans need to brace for life post Trump because in less than 5 years, it’s all going to change very dramatically. There will never be another Trump in the presidency for a while. Republicans don’t have anyone who can do that.
I have no idea who it will be, but come 2024, Democrats seem to be in a much better position for success.

Of course Dems will be in a better position in 2024. With the exception of Reagan-Bush, no party has won a third straight term since FDR.
The GOP post-Trump will be exactly what the Dems are now, a lost, incoherent party searching for a leader, a new vessel into which they will pour their hopes and dreams.
The Democratic Party will be Sanders' party for a few months (or a few years), and then it too will change.
The end of the Cold War broke the parties. They're both lost, both in search of a core set of beliefs.

Unfortunate for Pete and Amy to be put next to each other at the end of the row. They looked like bickering kids at the kiddie table.

And here ends the Bloomberg boomlet.
Not even 60 billion can turn you into NOT Mike Bloomberg.
Thought the same thing. It was evident in every second of his speaking that Bloomberg has no idea what he is talking about and is utterly unprepared for this job.
But if he wants to pump a few hundred million more into the economy and drain a few votes off of Biden then he can hang around as long as he wants.
Yeah, his actual run for the Presidency seems to have ended tonight.
Jeez, two hours of Bernie Unhinged is more than anyone should ever have to tolerate. I miss the governors and Harris and Booker and others who actually talked about real world stuff.
Warren should watch the video of Harris questioning Barr with finesse. Sounding as schoolmarmish or as insane TV prosecutor is not a good look.
Buttigieg is too young this time around but has the requisite arrogance to be president one day.
Sanders looks and sounds really ill. People who are as batshit crazy as he was tonight are far down that road of constant aggravation with everything because they're ill.
