You do realize that many of those same people who "just couldn't vote for Clinton" will now just invent new reasons why they cant vote for the next Dem candidate, pushing "blame" once again on the Dems.

Whatever the perceived weakness is of the Dem nominee will magically become the most important thing to those voters, thus justifying their vote for the scumbag grifter again. That way, they can still avoid feeling responsible for the mess that Trump makes.

To expand on this. It is estimated that 13 percent of obama voters switched to Trump. Roughly 8.5 million votes.

An additional roughly 6.3% or 4.4 million Obama voters chose not to vote at all

I missed a number. Not 6.3 but 6.63% of obama voters stayed home.

Really? Am I imagining the "Bernie is a socialist" claims? I am sure that some GOP voter here will inform me what Warren's unforgivable trait is. We all know Pete's unforgicable trait..

Why do we have to trade one whackjob nincompoop for another whackjob nincompoop!

Maybe we should break the whackjob nincompoop cycle.

Just pointing out that simply being a Dem is enough to label a person a "whackjob nincompoop" in the eyes of some these days.

Whats Pete's unforgivable trait? I havent heard anyone bashing on him here.

Also, do you want to respond to my actual facts that were presented in argument to your previous claim? Or do you prefer to just spin around in circles and yell at clouds?

Hence my use of the phrase "many of" as in not all of.

How many of? You don't know. Because you're just making it up.

You've got multiple people on this site alone, who many here consider republicans or right leaning, who have each said individually on numerous occasions they'd prefer various Dem candidates over trump.

This idea that a large amount a people do what you accused them of (never considering a Dem and always clinging to some baseless negative talking point) is silly. Very few people do that. In fact I don't know a single person that chooses their vote for president in that fashion every 4 years.

So 19.6% of obama voters Not voting for Hillary is insignificant and the problem is with the republicans that are vocal on their dislike for her that arent going to vote that side anyway?

Mistakes were made in 2016. Many of those same mistakes are being repeated in 2020. The Democrats need to start acknowledging the mistakes and accepting at least a little responsiblity for the mistakes so they can be remedied.

Or not and then blame everyone else when Bernie loses. Either way I guess.

You mean other than wanting to create two massive middle-class entitlements, "paid for" by a patently unconstitutional confiscation of wealth?

We need more?

Incompetence and racial cluelessness, from what I've heard from South Benders.

You are jumping to all those conclusions, not me. Not sure why you are so insistent that each comment represent every single voting individual.

There is nothing to "remedy" other than to not allow Hillary Clinton to not be the choice.

There will be some former Obama voters who wont vote for Sanders. There will be some former Obama voters who wont vote for Warren.
Repeat the above for every Dem candidate remaining.

There will also be some Dems who no matter who they are, some GOP voters will take up whatever cute phrases or claims that Trump comes up with as a reason to not vote for them.

If Bernie loses, it's because his ideas are too extreme and he failed to convince enough voters that they are good ideas worth what they cost.

Huh, could be, I dont know a ton about his time there. I have a buddy that is in South Bend and is typically fairly conservative who likes Pete a lot. He is white though so he probably cant accurately speak to the racial cluelessness part.
