Why did the Wizards trade one of their best players?

Allocation dollars I guess. Basically same thing with Dwyer. Sucks to see Rubio go as he was clutch. But they believe in Salloi and Russell to carry the load.

Sigi Schmid passed away.
Most wins by an MLS coach.

Good friend of mine is a Bruin, who played for him...he spoke wonderful stories of the man and the coach. R.I.P. Coach.

Chelsea, but particularly the EPL is a great spot for him and the US.

Yes. Gives kids the opportunity to watch him on NBC on Saturday mornings. Much easier than FS1.

Very good move for Pulisic and the future of US soccer. More eyes will be on him than ever before.

It's a great move for him individually.
I'm concerned he has a Wiggins mentality - 'don't give 0 fucks about the national team'.
That said, I imagine he was pretty pissed/bummed they couldn't qualify for the World Cup.

I think that changes now with Dempsey and some other bigger names out of the picture. This is his squad now, he is the face of the program, and I think he'll embrace that.

He's very Landon Donovan-ish. Kind of a prick, can get really pissy, but is so damn talented (More than Donovan) and will eventually embrace being the top guy. Jersey number matches to boot..

Sporting KC's 2019 schedule is out. Only 3 mid-week league home games so it's pretty friendly for fans who come from other parts of Kansas to games.

Wonder if this is just the start of MLS teams doing this, and eventually turning towards a fall/winter/spring schedule..

Yeah, with MLS still going to expand to 28 teams and the new playoff format where they're done before the November FIFA international window, the regular season is eventually going to start in February.

Trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on SKC season tickets, with another family. That's a lot of soccer.

It's worth it, I know people with season tickets that go to 4-5 games a year due to travel and just sell the extras. You won't regret it.
