just heard a rumor that Q quit going to class, and so is ineligible academically
hence the transfer

I remember that rumor a while back too, but never knew of any substance.
Is there academic eligibility to transfer? If his grades at KU went down the shitter, would another college really wanna give him a scholarship?
Edit: what if he hasn’t completed any credit hours and stuff?

I say it's highly doubtful he's transferring anywhere. Doesn't want to be a student and that's exactly what he would have to be for TWO more seasons.
I figure he's playing overseas if he doesn't end up being a Free Agent/G League guy.

But really, who is the 1st or 2nd greatest JAYHAWK since DMan?
Mason is the only answer.
Paul Pierce?

I also think that, more likely than not, his next competitive basketball will be a few thousand miles away.

Paul Pierce?
Collison’s career seems rather unmatched.

The postseason stuff with Pierce and Mason really kill it for me.

By the only logic where Pierce is the answer, Embiid probably ends up being the answer then?

Pierce was:
1996 Big 8 Freshman of the Year
1997 3rd Team All-Big 12
1997 1st Team All-Big 12 Tournament
1997 NCAA Tournament All-Region
1997 MVP of Big 12 Tournament
1998 1st Team All-Big 12
1998 1st Team All-Big 12 Tournament
1998 1st Team All-American
1998 MVP of Big 12 Tournament
1998 MVP of Preseason NIT
1998 Wooden Award Finalist
1998 Naismith Award Finalist
10th All-Time Scoring
19th All-Tim in Rebounds
5th Highest Single Season Scoring (777)
That's all with only 3 years and doesn't include his Hall of Fame NBA Career. Where is currently sits 15th on the All-Time scoring list.
What the fuck else do you guys want\.........

Collison beats all that. + 2 final fours.
Jersey hangs in OKC, as well.

Collison was great, but he’s no Pierce.

By a very wide margin

A wide margin?
But I thought making fun of Collins’s weight issues was off limits!

Neither PP or NC are ahead of SC. The only argument that is logical is FM.
I may concede to FM. But no one else makes sense.

Collision had both a better individual career at KU and in the NBA than Collins did.
Other than that, no logical argument.

Where Mason has Collison is that Mason swept NPOY while Collison only had 1 NPOY award. Collison wins everywhere else. Better career. Mason better individual season.
