Is it possible that "creepy as hell" is an understatement?
Absolutely. And either way, it seems that somebody (or somebodies) should go away for a ling time.

Just curious, does withholding U.S. taxpayer's money in the form of aid appropriated by congress to pressure, i.e., extort*, the leader of "another country", figure into your opinion? Or does the fact that Trump was using our tax dollars for his own personal benefit, and not for America's benefit, not matter?

*Extort: obtain (something) by force, threats, or other unfair means:
force, obtain by force, obtain by threat(s), blackmail someone for, extract, exact, coerce, wring, wrest, screw, squeeze, milk, worm something out of someone; North American & Australian informal put the bite on someone for
Just curious, didn't we release the funds to them? Because it sure doesn't seem like we extorted them for information if we didn't get any information from them and they still got their aid...
And this is why Trump will get re-elected.
Exactly.

Extortion is complete upon the "ask." It doesn't have to be successful or carried out. It is a crime that cannot be cured. It is like the solicitation of a child for sex. You don't have to show up at the front door with condoms, a little pink dress, and a doll for the crime to be complete.

Speaking of "extortion":

A week before Germany, France and Britain formally accused Iran of breaching the 2015 nuclear deal, the Trump administration issued a private threat to the Europeans that shocked officials in all three countries.

If they refused to call out Tehran and initiate an arcane dispute mechanism in the deal, the United States would impose a 25 percent tariff on European automobiles, the Trump officials warned, according to European officials familiar with the conversations.

Within days, the three countries would formally accuse Iran of violating the deal, triggering a recourse provision that could reimpose United Nations sanctions on Iran and unravel the last remaining vestiges of the Obama-era agreement.

The U.S. effort to coerce European foreign policy through tariffs, a move one European official equated to “extortion,” represents a new level of hardball tactics with the United States’ oldest allies, underscoring the extraordinary tumult in the transatlantic relationship.

President Trump has previously used the threat of a 25 percent tariff on automobiles to win more-favorable terms in the country’s trade relationship with the Europeans, but not to dictate the continent’s foreign policy.

Democratic challenger Mark Kelly has again topped Arizona Republican Sen. Martha McSally’s fundraising in one of the top 2020 Senate races, according to numbers released by both campaigns Tuesday.

Kelly, a retired astronaut, raised $6.3 million in the fourth quarter and had $13.6 million in the bank at the end of 2019, according to his campaign. He’s led McSally in fundraising since announcing his Senate bid nearly a year ago.

McSally’s campaign said she raised $4 million during the last three months of the year and had $7.6 million in the bank...

McSally continues to try and profit off her obviously contrived "push back" against a "liberal hack" journalist:

Poll shows Collins displaces McConnell as most unpopular senator

Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), who has come under mounting pressure as President Trump’s impeachment trial starts, is now the Senate’s most unpopular member, displacing Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) in the rankings, according to a new tracking poll.

A quarterly Morning Consult tracking poll finds that Collins’s net approval rating has dropped 10 points in Maine since the end of September, a sign of the intense fire she has taken from critics since the House launched its impeachment inquiry.

Morning Consult reported Thursday evening in a preview of its survey findings that Collins, who is up for reelection this year, now registers a 52 percent disapproval. Her approval rating stood at 42 percent.

It's like America said enough of the best and brightest bullshit, it's time to let the worst elements run things for a while.
