The facts are his voting record. The assumption you made and get slack for are that he voted for specific actions because of who the President was at the time.lobster wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 11:46 am Of course I try to get some kind of response out of people, as that's the only way to have an interesting discussion. But there's nothing I post that I don't believe.
I point out that Bernie Sanders has voted for military involvement numerous times, voting for actions that resulted in the deaths of thousands of children. I'm not saying I dislike all of his policies, but I'm just pointing out that Sanders is a "company man", and will vote for war if there is a Clinton or Obama as president This simple fact got a lot of backlash from "lazy and ignorant" people on here who did not simply do a 5 minute Google search.
And now that I look at his voting record in regards to Defense, I do not see him voting FOR any type of war during Obama's administration. He voted FOR S-Amdt 1064 in 2011, which called for a repeal of the authorization to use military force against Iraq. That hardly seems "pro-war".
So what specifically is it in his voting record during Obama's administration that led you to post that he was "Pro-War" during Obama's presidency?
