"Willfully uninformed" coming from the guy who watches FoxNews every morning and comes to report which conservative celeb was interviewed.

You can't play ditzy frat boy in all the other threads and then come act like you're super knowledgeable about all things politics on the politics threads and expect everyone to take you seriously.

Denzel said it best: "if you don't read the newspapers you're uninformed. If you do read the newspapers you're misinformed."

It takes a lot of time/work to be truly informed on most of the subjects discussed daily on this board. Time/work all but 4 or 5 on here likely don't have time or desire to do...I know I sure don't.

If you think reading huffpost and watching CNN (or foxnews/OAN etc) means you're "informed" on all topics then you're sadly mistaken. There are very few news outlets who truly report news unfiltered with no agenda...most of the TV news stations border on propaganda, which should be illegal but probably isn't?

at the very least, if someone presents some story from some source, I try to consider the substance of the story rather than accuse everyone else of being a bunch of butthurt loosers, or just refrain some bullshit about Dowdy.

To be fair, I never said you were a looser, just that your perspective is clouded by being butthurt. You have the ability to take a step back and gain some perspective if you so choose. I’m just pointing out the current choices being made.

And you’re acting as if a politics bored is life and death. Think about that for a minute. In the last decade we’ve had two Presidents at opposite ends of the ideological spectrum. Has anything about your life changed appreciably that wasn’t due to choices you made for yourself? My guess is no. It’s a big, silly game designed to make us fight like bugs in a jar while the people with power do what they want to do. Doesn’t matter if Big Fat, Mean Orange Man, Buttplug Pete, or, God forbid, Dowdy, ends up at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in 2021, your life is up to you.

In terms of what he does and doesn't wear, I have a difficult time understanding why he chooses to wear such poorly fitting clothes.
