Newell brought up good point. Last year KU was 2nd in TO differential (+16) and 124th this year (-12)
Turnovers are statistically worth about 5 points. So from last year to this year, KU lost 140 points in turnover margin.
That kind of stinks. Helped that Bender only three 2 picks all of last year compared to Stanley’s 11 or whatever this year.

KU only recovered 2 fumbles on defense. Only 2 big schools schools have recorded a number that low in a decade and it’s been since 2014 since last occurrence.

Last year KU lived off of turnovers. Rutgers, CMU, etc. We all knew that was fools gold and no way sustainable especially because last years senior class was so deep off d-lineman and linebackers. The strength of this years defense was the secondary. Speaking of the secondary whatever happened to Co. Harris?

Knee injury during the KSU game...didn't play much, if any, from that point on.
