4 Creighton 70 v 14 Vermont 53
The Blue Jays don't have their best game going 9 for 26 from 3 and committing 15 turnovers but Vermont isn't any better, shooting 38% from the field in this brickfest.
Ty-Shon Alexander 19 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals.

IS NO ONE EXCITED ABOUT KANSAS WINNING?!?!?!
We fucking dominated those dudes.
We gave up 59 points to RoMo and I'm supposed to be excited about that?
Then again, the last time we played them in the tournament it was a struggle. 79-71 Final in 90.
God bless Ricky Calloway!

2 Duke 74 v 15 Eastern Washington 75
I'm not making this up ( well I am technically but ball don't lie ) and you hate to see it, but the Blue Devils help shed the heat off Dayton with their early exit.
Jacob Davidson has 25 points and goes coast to coast with 9 seconds left, laying it in with 4 seconds ( and an obvious and one not called on his finish ) after going down 1 point on a Tre Jones layup.
Coach K calls a timeout but Tre Jones misses the game winner. Duke shoots 3 of 14 from 3 and turns the ball over 17 times in the stunner.
Tre Jones ( Duke ) 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists.
Kim Aiken 15 points, 5 steals.

4 Kentucky 82 v 13 Belmont 72
Ashton Hagans shows why he makes the big bucks when it counts with 19 points and 8 assists.
Belmont plays it close but Tyler Scanlon misses a 3 with 2 minutes left and on Belmont's next possession dribbles it off his foot.

When I clicked that simulate button I smiled very widely and knew I had to save the game to the end of the day. But you hate to see it.

Know Your Phoe
Florida Gators.......
The University of Florida Gators are from Gainesville Florida.
The school colors are orange and blue.
Their mascots are named Albert E. Gator and Alberta Gator.
Get it? Al E Gator. Isn't that cute? Albert and Alberta are anthropomorphic representations of American alligators, which are commonly found throughout the state of Florida.
They have 1 Caucasian player on the team.
They are a Jordan School and wear what I feel are cool uniforms and shoes.
Their record was 19-12 and they finished 11-7 in the SEC.
Their Coach is Mike White who is in his 5th season at Florida.
Team averaged 71.9 points per game which is ranked 167.
They averaged 34.8 rebounds per game which is not good at all. 253rd in the country.
You think the rebounds are bad? Their assists were11.9 per game which ranks 325 in the country.
They allowed 66 points per game. That ranks 78th.
Perhaps their best win of the season was beating Auburn by 22.
Their 2nd leading scorer and leading rebounder Kerry Blackshear Jr. is listed as probable for the game VS. KU. He injured his wrist against Kentucky and while it was diagnosed as a "sprain", he's still feeling discomfort.
They have 4 guys who averaged double digit points and Keyontae Johnson was their leading scorer at 14.0 points per game.
Their leading assist guy is 6'5" guard Andrew Nembhard from Aurora Ontario Canada. He's a Montverde (Ben Simmons / D'Angelo Russel) alum. His left eye is two different colors.
Their leading 3 point shooter is Noah Locke who shot 43.2% from behind the line and 42.9% from inside the line.
Sorry for a lack of detailed info but to me this is simply a boring team and one that's not too easy to analyze.
I'll go ahead and predict a 84-70 final with us outscoring them 45-35 in the 2nd half.

11 Wichita State 43 v 3 Villanova 67
Wichita State looses the ball literally as they commit 22 turnovers. This one is over at tip with Villanova beginning the game on a 14-0 run. Wichita State fans still feel good that they 'got 2 wins' in the tourney.
Collin Gillespie 22 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals.
Jeremiah Robinson-Earl 12 points, 15 rebounds.

1 Gonzaga 86 v 9 LSU 85
In the best game of the tournament so far, both teams exchange leads 11 times, tie 12 times. LSU leads by 2 with 9 seconds left and, after an inbounds, does a good job preventing the first shot - but Admon Gilder pulls up with a hand in his face and drains a 3 with .9 seconds left.
Admon Gilder 18 points.
Drew Timme 16 points.

5 Auburn 67 v 4 Maryland 78
Jalen Smith and the Terps advance to the sweet 16 with a game more comfortable than the score looks. Maryland hits 55% from the field and is up 17 with 2 minutes left with Samir Doughty hitting 2 garbage time 3's.
Jalen Smith 22 points, 9 rebounds.
Anthony Cowan 15 points, 7 assists.
