This team has good enough talent, they're fast, they're deep. Oh wow. That's a lot of concerns.

I do think some coaches would fit this team better. Notably ones that pressure and like playing 10 guys. Speed and quality depth are the biggest strengths.

I know, right? On the flip side I'm excited to see this team. I find the years where we really don't know what we have exciting.

Back in 2007-08, the student section was twice as big and 10x as loud! And we went to football games!

and our QB was so tough he'd shut down the bars, spend the rest of the night in ChiO house, and still throw 4 TDs for an 11am kickoff!

more to the point, and all exact "players-only meeting" nostalgia aside, my point was that this team has the feel of one that'll grow up quick, with at least one somebody stepping up into a big new role at some point, and a whole different look and feel in March than in December.

but I guess that's not necessarily a hot take, either.
