I think he's posting about that team that lost to messourah.
I'm thinking Portillo's for lunch. Pretty good Eye-talian sammy.
MMMM. Gutter and I have been there together twice. He helped me order. How was it yesterday?
Yes, 99 - How was it?

Fwiw (unfortunately for a you ("you" being Back2Larry) a heart attack and me coronary blockage? :? - and a rusty crooked nail?)
Portillo's hasn't been the same in about 10 years. Don't get me wrong, they still provide an enjoyable Italian Beef but if we are talking a real Chicago Italian Beef we need to put Johnnie's (in Elmwood Park) at the top of the conversation.

Getting back on topic of the thread but staying on the topic of food.....
I am considering going to the Northwestern / Minnesota game tomorrow. I know, ZZzzzzzzzz.
Ryan Field (Northwestern) may have some of the worst food of any college football stadium in the country.
What Ryan Field (Northwestern) definitely has is Mustard's Last Stand a block away.
While definitely not a great hamburger, it absolutely serves it's purpose - as does their fries.
Their Italian Beef - no good.

Didn't make it. Work got in the way. Been there twice and liked it both times.

It’s because Deion is a dick. The sunglasses and cowboy hat take it up a notch, but the dickishness is the root cause.
I was afraid that we would eventually agree on something.

Reset, looks like it could be another 4-5 years for the next incident
One of my most vivid memories in Arrowhead was the day Neon Deion and Andre "Spiderman" Rison showed up with the Falcons, 1991 I believe. The two of them were talking smack before the game and during the game like crazy. Their targets were Kevin "The Rock" Ross, Albert Lewis and Deron Cherry. It was a physical game.

Early in the game Rison goes up to catch a pass in front of Ross, who catches him just under his ass and then whip slams him onto his face on the turf. Ross gets up and walks away saying nothing. It took them a few minutes to peel Rison off the turf and take him to the locker room, never saw him on the field again that day.

Next up, Neon Deion!

He had been jawing at Ross after the Rison wipeout. Deion took a cheap shot at Kimble Anders and got a flag. Deion was waiting under a punt, visions of high stepping into the end zone in his head. He looked up after catching the punt, and Lewis was flying at him horizontal. Like a man shot out of a cannon. Hit Deion mid chest. Lewis just got up and walked away afterwards, no big deal, he had just said his peace. It took a few minutes to get Deion on his feet and over to the bench where he spent the rest of the game getting heckled by the Arrowhead crowd. I would have felt bad for him but he did instigate and pour gasoline on the conflict. I think Lewis finished the day with three INTs.

Marty Schottenheimer's teams were pretty boring on offense, but it was a bad idea to piss the defense off.

Deron Cherry was before my time, and I couldn't find his hit on Sanders, but I did find this:

Deron cherry highlights

Deron Cherry #20 of the Kansas City Chiefs

Career Accomplishments
Undrafted free agent in 1981
Kansas City Chiefs (1981-1991)
6x Pro Bowl selection
5x All-Pro selection
50 interceptions for 688 return yards
5 seasons with 7 or more interceptions
927 solo tackles
6 seasons with 100 or more tackles
1980's All-Decade Team

NFL 101 AFC Defensive Player of the Year 1986

NFL Players Association's Byron R. (Whizzer) White Humanitarian Award in 1987

He became a limited ownership partner in one of the NFL’s then-new expansion teams, the Jacksonville Jaguars. This made him the first minority owner of an NFL franchise in the league's history.

The Chiefs has some serious defensive studs in the early 90s.

There was a girl at KU in the mid 80s named Jill Cherry. She was dating one of the Busch kids.
I called her Deron.
That's all I got for you.
Have a nice day.

Cheapest single ticket on Stubhub at 7:33am for the Thee Ohio State University / Notre Dame game was $672 before fees. No thanks.
Cheapest single ticket on Stubhub at 7:33am for the BYU / KU game was $45 before fees.

I could pay to fly to KC, pay to rent a car, buy a ticket for the KU game, pay for parking, and pay for food at the game, for less money than it would cost me to buy a ticket for the OSU/ND game.

Here we go. That is a good game. For some reason think the ND transfer QB is the difference. There is chance that Clemson and Bama could both lose today and be out of the playoffs?!!

The thing about Prime Time. The Buffs have zero chance to be in this position without him. Zero. The Pac 12 has 8 teams in the top 25. The Buffs going to lose some games shortly.

BYU +9.5 at KU (I think KU wins by 6)
Rutgers at MICH -24 (That's a push)
FSU at Clemson +2 (I do think FSU beats them 7 out of 10 times)
OU -14 at Cinci (That's a push)
CU +21 at Oregon (I think Oregon wins by 17)
UCLA +6 at Utah (I think UCLA wins by 6)
Ole Miss at Bama -6.5 (I think Bama wins by 8 because they will play better than they have been and Ole Miss will play worse than they have been)
Duke at UConn +21 (I think Duke wins by 20)
Miami at Temple +23.5 (I think Miami wins by 20)
UTSA at Tennessee - 21.5 (Tennessee may shave points but if not, I think they win by 24)
Arkansas +17.5 at LSU (I think LSU wins by 17)
Oregon State at Washington State +3 (I think Oregon State wins by 2 or 3 - or WSU wins by 6)
Charlotte at Florida -28 (I think Florida wins by 31)
UAB +42.5 at Georgia (I think Georgia wins by 41)
Texas - 14.5 at Baylor (I think Texas wins by 17)
Ohio State at Notre Dame +3 (I think Notre Dame wins by 8)
Iowa at PSU -14.5 (I think PSU wins by 18)
UNC -7.5 at Pitt (I think UNC wins by 12)
USC at ASU +34.5 (I think USC wins by 23)
Cal +20.5 at Washington (I think Washington wins by 20)
Check out my Rutgers/Michigan and my OU/Cinci predictions. ;)
Final scores
Rutgers 7 / Michigan 31 (24 point spread = PUSH)
OU 20 / Cinci 6 (14 point spread = PUSH)
EXACTLY what I predicted.

P.S. Coach Prime should have an interesting halftime speech. LULZ!

You have to wonder, consciously or unconsciously, how many prospects recruited by Oregon have gone somewhere else, because their uniforms are so ugly?

So far not too fun if you are a Domer.
I'm glad I didn't pay to see Northwestern get their ass kicked by Minnesota but wouldn't have mined paying to see the Flubs (Cubs) beat the Balboas (Rockies).
