I remember when Roi left, there were suggestions that we re-hire LB as an interim/caretaker until we could get or groom the guy we wanted.

Obviously, I'm glad we didn't, since we got the guy we wanted, but I didn't think it was a terrible idea at the time.
Different world, but I would have at least some concerns with a caretaker guy having such a rough NCAA history.

Some crazy rumors going around about Cal and his buddy, who is the AD at DePaul, trying to get UK's AD fired, at which point Cal's buddy would somehow takeover as UK's AD and then keep Cal around.

Peevy was at Kentucky before DePaul. They both probably have some dirt on Barnhart but Kentucky isn't firing him any time soon, and if they did, Barnhart would expose the dirt he has on Peevy and Calipari. It would be a vicious circle and it would be Kentucky that would be the ultimate loser.

I do NOT think Kentucky should hire Larry Brown.

All depends on who you choose to believe but the consensus flavor of the hour is Scott Drew.

He'll be 84 in September, so I believe he's running for president.

If UK misses on Scott Drew and then whoever they have behind them, Pitino would be an interesting "hold the line while we try to find a top tier long term coach" hire.

We're already living in the freaking Upside Down world so fuck it, bring Pitino back to UK!

Honestly, if you told me mid-season that Cal bails and Scott Drew sucks his way to Lexington, I woulda said that’s a pretty hilarious offseason so far.
