Bama's Jalen Milroe is what we hoped Jalon Daniels was going to be.

That's kind of like going out on a blind date and hoping your blind date looks like this..

Odds to win the Heisman 2 days ago from BetMGM.
What's wrong with this picture?

PLAYER CURRENT ODDS OPENING ODDS
Cam Ward +375 +2000
Jaxson Dart +500 +2000
Jalen Milroe +700 +800
Nico Iamaleava +900 +1100
Dillon Gabriel +1000 +800
Quinn Ewers +1400 +800
Carson Beck +1600 +800
Travis Hunter +1600 +3500
Ashton Jeanty +2000 [not priced]
Will Howard +2200 +1400
Miller Moss +2500 +3000
Drew Allar +3500 +5000
Garrett Nussmeier +5000 +1800
Cade Klubnik +5000 +3500
Arch Manning +5000 +10000
Riley Leonard +6600 +2000
Brady Cook +6600 +2000
Noah Fifita +6600 +2500
Luther Burden +8000 +5000
Shedeur Sanders +10000 +2500

I'll tell you what's wrong.
First I am going to say, this is what the award is supposed to be awarded for.....
"Outstanding performance which best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, hard work".
Is that what the voters really use to vote? Or do they just think of who they feel the "top" or "best" player is?
Supposedly there are 870 media voters, 57 previous Heisman winners who can vote, and a single vote that is representative of the "fans" vote.
The voters are supposed to vote for their top 3 choices in order of 1, 2, 3.
THIS is what I feel is wrong. Of the top 20 players I listed. I am confident of the 928 voters, 75% of them will never have seen some of those on the list play a single game. Those who do see them play a single game, will base their votes on that single game. Heck, I'm confident a substantial amount of the media members and Heisman winners couldn't tell you today what teams at least 5 of those on the list play for.
Those odds are fucked up! Yes, I realize those odds are based on who they felt would win. Not who they felt is most deserving, so that's why I can/do cut them SOME slack, but they are still fucked up. Even from 2 days ago.
Ok, all that being said, if I had a vote (I suppose I do as a "fan") and I was voting for the "TOP" or "BEST" player, Sheduer Sanders would be in my top 15 if not top 10. Travis Hunter would be in my top 5 if not top 3. Jalen Milroe would be my top pick at the moment. Now if I was voting for ""Outstanding performance which best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, hard work", then my voting might be a bit different only because of the word "integrity".

P.S. If I was wagering $1000 on who I felt was most deserving. I would wager $20 on Sanders at +10000, $30 on Hunter at +1600 and $50 on Milroe at +700.

If Bama loses this - I don't see how Kane Wommack keeps his job. Dude is just as deserving (if not more deserving) of losing his job as Grimes is.

Yay!

It's probably hard to imagine how stoked the Vandy fans are.

Gotta love that mizzou lost.

I’d be ‘happy’ Mizzou lost if KU wasn’t playing so much below expectations

Watched a lot of the Miami/Cal game. Miami was down 25 in the 3rd. I wonder what those odds were before the game. Then I wonder what the odds were during the game that Miami would come back and win. Of course I fell asleep after Miami scored in the 4th and was down 13. I was excited to see if they would come back and win.

Yesterday....
Down went 1, 4, 9, 10, and 11. Have fun with that CFP folks.

CU v K state, late game Friday night on ESPN .

LOTS of primetime haters (both coach and late games), but this should be a good watch. "billions" of viewers.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of coach Prime, but, damn he's brought a ton of interest and $$$$ to CU.

Big fan of Travis Hunter...

Northwestern blows. They are 3-3. I predict they finish 4-8.
Kansas blows (but I feel has A LOT more talent than Northwestern). They are 1-5. I predict they finish 3-9.
How about my getting them to agree to play a meaningless game on December 21st at Wrigley Field and I will throw an all expense paid trip to Chicago for the kansascrimson.com members? Who's in?

Worthless predictions for the week.....

Scar +22 at Bama (Bama by 17)
Clem at Wake +21 (Clem by 20)
Mizzou -27.5 at UMass (Mizzou by 31)
Texas at Oklahoma +17 (Texas by 10)
PSU at USC +3.5 (USC by 7)

ASU beat down Utah. A big problem for Kansas this year is they played a lot of good teams early. May have the toughest schedule ever. Did not see that coming.

What?!?!? We just lost UT and OU?!!! The Big 12 is wide open. The toughest schedule ever from a kid who for sure goes back to the BIG 8. Ludacris...

I bet $10 of Gutter's money we 6-0 if we had OC AK but we do not. At this point I only care about 1 game. That game is with the team that wears Purple. We have lost all of our MOJO and it is not coming back anytime soon. I believe we stuck with the Division 3 Wizard.

But I am watching Alabama. How did this team beat Georgia??? They looking not so good against South Carolina. Man if they lose this game the wheels coming off.

Yeah, we don’t miss AK at all. And this doesn’t show all the pre-snap movement.

First half was pretty abysmal. Second half, good offense seems to have led to good defense. Minus a relatively unlucky pick by Allar.

The first five major teams KU played are a collective 21-6, which is not what anyone expected.

So win 2, lose 3, and we are 3-3.

Not hard to imagine with the way the roster lined up.
