I'm not the one who needs to catch on. Why are the republicans afraid of an investigation? You've seen 1st hand accounts of why people don't come out with accusations on this site. Investigate. If she's found to be lying, charger her.
I am GOP. I support the Senate to Investigate. I understand the reason why the Democrats oppose a fifth Conservative on SCOTUS. Ther are many political battles on the Left that can't be won in the House/Senate or in Three-fourths of state legislatures . The odds are better to use the SCOTUS to create political change. But at the end of the day, it is going to come down to two stories. It is a She said; He said. The 4 witnesses named by Dr. Ford all have written they have no knowlege of this party. Hear Dr. Ford out. Listen to Judge Kavanaugh. Vote. Count the votes. Move on.

Interesting that some are so interested in "constitutionality," but only in their own interpretation of that term. Perhaps the lawyers know better than I--does the Constitution mention "lame duck presidents?"

Sea, I have chosen not to get into these arguments. I'm a big believer in the theory that the world is round. Confirm the guy. That makes Roberts the swing vote. And, he's the Chief Justice, who believes in court and institutional stability. Who assigns opinions. Remember Earl Warren? Give Kavanaugh the Indian reservation/treaty opinions.
Trump idiots who throw around terms like "snowflake" and believe in a liar President because he "tells it like it is" are like tumbleweeds.

Like I said - I don’t care. The iron is hot now and I expect that it will be struck.

. . . says the guy who voted for a sociopathic murderer who lied and disparaged women her husband sexually assaulted in order to retain her own access to power for decades. Idiot, indeed.

"says the guy who voted for a sociopathic murderer" makes you sound like Alex Jones and/or his nitwit followers.
"who lied"...as you vehemently support a man who simply CANNOT tell the truth.
"her husband sexually assaulted"...is it better to support Trump? Himself an admitted sexual assault violator?
The hypocrisy is being painted a little thick on this one.

Just wondering where your outrage was back then. But keep quoting the party line. It’s bound to make a BIG difference at some point. Chuckle.

Jfc, it is psych. I had hoped it would be someone capable of thinking outside what a few demagogues spew. Welp, so much for that. Makes sense now why facts didn't seem to have any effect.

Yay! The porn star attorney throws his “credibility” in the mix. Next thing you know, Bigfoot will be subpoenaed to testify.
So. Much. Dumb.

My long held thought on SCOTUS nominations has been that among the 450,000 lawyers in the country, among those who did not attend Harvard or Yale, there might be 1 or 2 with the intellectual capacity to sit on the Court. Indeed, that their experience might be useful in rendering opinions that affect the citizenry.

This is ridiculous.
So says you.
Perhaps it is "ridiculous". Perhaps it's not "ridiculous".
Do you feel it's "ridiculous" that a man who is being nominated for the highest court in the land is now being accused of inappropriate sexual behavior by another woman?
Or do you feel, "ridiculous" is a women making false allegations? - Assuming they are false.
Maybe "ridiculous" is people refusing to believe a woman or absolutely believing a woman who is telling a true or a false story - because they don't like or they do like that she is accusing someone they choose to feel is innocent or guilty. - ASSUMING the allegations are true or false.
