what about treatment?
The director of the CDC doesn't have that kind of authority.

How has the KC area been affected? Haven't heard much out of there.

4 cases in Johnson County. Haven't heard much else from Missouri side or anything around the KC area.

My work has HQ in OP. Interested to see if we shut it down for a bit within a week or 2.

The 3 new cases are men 35-65. All attended a conference in Florida.

WH is saying Trump hasn't been tested, despite (1) documented primary and secondary contacts with carriers, and (2) he is the fucking President of the United States.

Either that's a lie (and he's positive), or he's afraid, personally or electorally or both, of knowing he has it.

Or, they just literally don't have a test around.

Don’t have any tests here.

I just got a text from Annie Oakley who works at JCCC. They are shutting the campus down. Starting Sat all non-essential personnel and students are to stay off campus for two weeks while they set up on-line learning program. This came about 5 minutes after an email from KCBiz Journal updating the 3 new cases in JOCO. Good to see some urgency in responses now.

Idiot me booked a trip through American Airlines Vacations. I know, like I said, "idiot me".
Anyways, interesting that she told me FOR NOW, even despite the circumstances, they have a "no refund" policy and instead are giving vouchers good for travel within 1 year.
When I booked it there was pretty much a no refund policy so I probably shouldn't have expected one.
Don't really have much of a choice but to be ok with it - and I am. I think.

I think last night may have been a turning point. The NBA, Hoiberg, NCAA, plus an Oval Office address (the fact that one happened, not the content or the speaker, necessarily), and suddenly everyone is a bit more serious and urgent today.

Except PDub.

And Trump's doctor.

yes, i realize that

the question was more general...i guess fingers crossed that only the well-insured will need any sort of serious treatment once infected

What did we expect from someone who obviously only watches Trump State News, i.e., Fox?

Not a lot of this post is accurate.
