The Royals still, for some reason, just organizationally (from the top down) not giving a shit about getting on base is like an NBA team just saying "nah" to shooting threes.

Denny Matthews' irritation at stupid plays, strategy and umpires was not to be missed. You can do so much while simply listening to America's game. Still, the Royals lately make it hard not to yell angrily at the sky. That big extension to Dozier was sheer genius. Leaving Witt in the minors is just great too. whoo hoo.

Royals screwed again on a clear mistake by the replay umpires. This is now a pattern. If there is a miniscule way to spin the wrong decision, the replay goes for the other team. Every time. Second time in this series too. Both mistakes cost the Royals a critical run.
