The good thing is that this is America. We just need to wait a few more days and I'm sure the police will shoot a black man dead who was a little better community pillar than George Floyd.

But, what did Floyd do to earn a statue besides get killed by a racist cop? He wasnt exactly a pillar of the community or a great role model as far as Ive read.

How would Chauvin in prison even work? I mean, all I know of prison is from movies and TV... But still, other prisoners are going to know who he is. I would imagine he's going to get the living shit beaten out of him.

He would be transferred to Protective Custody directly from intake.
PC is basically exactly the same as Solitary.
He could petition to remain in PC for a while, but he eventually will be dumped into General Population. He would find himself protected by Aryans...hated by blacks.
As profiled as he is, he actually would be pretty safe. If someone of color found themselves with a clear opportunity, he will get stuck. Most likely by a guy trying to jump in, earn a spur.
While we all dream of 24 hour sodomy for the fucker....it just isn't realistic.
