And? That reads more like sloppy wording in a police report than any attempt to cover anything up as it doesn't change the facts of what happened or "prove" anything at all. If they were attempting to cover something up, you'd think that mentioning that the police's body armor cameras being turned o would have been left out as it provides a road map for where to find evidence that proves the cover up wrong.
