Can someone explain why some (many?) Dems hate Tulsi so much? I just don't get it.

Simple -- they haven't really done their homework.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 3:28 pm Can someone explain why some (many?) Dems hate Tulsi so much? I just don't get it.

Things are looking quite good for Tulsi. She's by far the most talked about and liked candidate of all the democrats. If her and Yang team up, it would be the best possible ticket.
That's good news. I have hoped/assumed that if/when Warren becomes the obvious alternative to Bernie and secures the liberal vote, she'll move toward the middle and stop the cockamamie idea of taking everyone's employer provided/private health insurance away, and forcing them onto Medicare/single payor, whatever. Let people opt in or out of whatever they want, instead of forcing something on them. And the way she has prevaricated on how to pay for it, has been disappointing. So, although I'm not sure Pete has what it takes, if he or Klobuchar could catch fire and put Biden out of his misery, a moderate could hopefully do well against Trump. "Hopefully". Because if we think he's bad now, just give Trump another term, and I don't want to think about what could happen.Mjl wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 1:03 pm Pete in clear second in Iowa in latest poll. It's local - the local pollsters have historically been more accurate for the Iowa caucuses than national.

I'll help with some of you that are older and out of touch. Youtube is by far, the most important website on the internet in terms of determining what people want. It gives the most honest feedback possible. It's also far more viewed than all network TV combined. Yang and Gabbard are the most searched, most liked candidates on Youtube. Sanders is also liked a lot as well, but the issue with him is that he's old and his health is a major concern. Warren is kind of a mixed bag according to Youtube. The rest of the candidates are not even in the same league as these four. Harris is done, as are the rest.
