Porzingis to the Celtics for Brogdon.
I don’t like it.
I get the Celts have Smart and Derrick White but Brogdon was just so key this season.

Meh.

Speaking of the "Celtics", remember how disappointed pdub was when they were eliminated?

OK so it got even worse.

Instead of Brogdon the Celtics are trading away Marcus Smart who, despite a lot of hate, is the emotion behind this team and is still a top notch defender.
So now does Brogdon play point? Can he stay healthy enough all season to do so? And is Payton Pritchard now the backup? Yikes.

This is just for what?
An injury prone 4/5 who can shoot?

The Celts do move up this years draft board and get the Warriors 1st next year...but just not worth it to loose a guy like Smart. I wonder if Smart dyes his hair blue.

I've never personally liked Marcus smart. But he was the heart and soul of that Boston team. They might regret that trade.

I wonder if they move on from horford. Porzingas. And horford don't necessarily make sense. But both can shoot

Horford is a better defender than Porzingis.
You keep both ( Horford ain't getting younger, Robert Williams is a walking ER unit ).
I think you could even play them on the court at the same time in situations with Horford stretching the floor and Porzingis posting.

I had completely forgotten that Porzingas even existed so I just checked his stats. He put up 23 ppg and 8rpg last year. So crazy that a guy can put up 23 and 8 in the NBA and still be relatively invisible.

Chris Paul is at the point where, on a good team, he's best suited to come off the bench.
I think his expiring contract is also something the Warriors were interested in.

I bet he does. They want to make one last push for a title with their core. And cp3 is desperate to try to win a ring

Bools and I have something in common. We will have a shitty draft.
Bools have no pick and I just started my colonoscopy prep.

If the Celtics keep their draft pick I hope the Warriors finish with the 5th worst record and draw the 5th pick next year.
