MVS blew it.

Mostly drops.
Officiating was pretty lopsided but it was the drops and the fumble by Kelce that was most damning.

First and 10 there was time to run. Second and 10 went for broke. Idiotic. MVS should have caught it. Bad play calling. Raining hard.

That’s a game winning TD considering how well our D was playing.
MVS should forfeit his game check.

Phillie played pretty badly. Reminds me of Saturday. Just awful execution. MVS should have had it, but the play call was silly with that much time. That might be the Nagy effect.

Wut?
He was wide open.
It was a perfect throw and great read and call.
If you are a professional football player you have to make that catch.

Chiefs receivers suck. Directly cost them 2 games now

Might be the worst group in the league. Most drops in the league too.

Is Kelce really the only person Mahomes can depend on to make big catches when it matters?
My goodness. So many drops this year.

depend not defend.
Yes, many drops but Mahomes does/did have talent at the WR spot this season and guys capable of making big catches when it matters.
Rice has the legitimate potential to be great.
Toney proved on the Giants he can be a high quality WR.
MVS proved on the Packers he can be a high quality WR.
MeHard is very good.
What if any blame do Embree, Bleymaier, Nagy, Reid, and Veach, get in regards to the situation? Or is it just strictly on the players? Probably just on the players but if they suck - then some blame has to lie on the guys I just mentioned.
Call me crazy but I feel the guys they have should be (and are) good enough to win a Super Bowl when they have the GOAT QB, a better than average running game, a better than average offensive line, a very good if not great defense with a great defensive coordinator, and a HOF head coach.

Rice is decent.
The other WRs suck.
We shouldn’t have overspent on Taylor and gotten DeAndre Hopkins.
( we also shoulda drafted Swift over CEH )
Regardless Eagles are probably the best team in the NFL, we are down one of the best LBs in the game who we coulda used on Swift and that blown coverage on Devonta, and they got 7 points from the refs from a non called blatant hold that everyone saw.
I’d be good with a rematch.

I’d argue all three - I think they win the Denver game, also, if Skyy pulls in a well-thrown ball for a TD.
Instead he biffed it, just like MVS did last night.

shoulda taken care of business earlier in the season, rather than dropping two they “should’ve” won

I agree with you. This isn’t Chiefs/Rams from 2018, where you needed to worry about time on the clock. Different opposing offenses, different Chiefs defense.
And unfortunately different Chiefs offense.
If you have a layup throw for a TD, you take it. In almost any normal game situation.

Mahomes maybe shoulda pushed back on his pay increase.
Chiefs won't be able to land him a good WR in the offseason - not with all the signings we'll have to make.
Six drops last night.
How many yards do we think we lost out on those?
100?

Would you rather DeAndre Hopkins and Andrew Wylie/Lucas Niang at RT or our WR core and Jawan Taylor at RT? Or Adam Thielen and Andrew Wylie?
I know what I would rather.

Yup.
Skyy go ahead TD vs Denver right in his hands.
Kadarius a drop that led to a pick 6. Another drop that would have given us control of the clock in FG range.
MVS very likely a game winner, dropped.
Re-negotiate Mahomes.
If you want Mike Evans or Calvin Ridley, that's what it's going to take.
In other news, we can cut MVS in 2024 for just a 2 million dollar cap hit instead of taking on 14 million.
Um, yea.
