Far, far Leftist Democrats have operated out of the belief that Trump will be the 2020 Republican candidate and that even someone as crazy and aged as Bernie could defeat the Orange One. Some knowledgeable folks are now predicting that Republicans will dump Trump by summer 2020.
Should that make a big difference in which Democrat gets the nomination? Taking away private health insurance, including that provided by employers, may be an even larger liability than it does now.

I thought lobster was being sarcastic. I probably thought wrong.
You never know with a team like the Yankees and you never know with a guy like lobster.
I'll help with some of you that are older and out of touch. Youtube is by far, the most important website on the internet in terms of determining what people want. It gives the most honest feedback possible. It's also far more viewed than all network TV combined. Yang and Gabbard are the most searched, most liked candidates on Youtube. Sanders is also liked a lot as well, but the issue with him is that he's old and his health is a major concern. Warren is kind of a mixed bag according to Youtube. The rest of the candidates are not even in the same league as these four. Harris is done, as are the rest.
Also, the reason why the network TV is trying to stop Gabbard is because she is the only one talking about ending our wars. Prolonged war with no victory in sight is a huge money making machine for America.
I thank you for educating me.
Few questions.
1) Those Youtube views/hits/whatever they are called, is there a way to determine which were done in the USA by people who will actually be going out to vote in the primaries and Presidential election?
2) Is there a way to determine what percentage of Donald Trump searches on Youtbube are made by those who support him and those who oppose him?
3) You may be on to something in terms of Gabbard, That being said, is it just me just me that feels in the past couple of weeks there has been more reporting about the "war" in Syria since we (the USA) is leaving Syria than there was the weeks/months preceding when we were still in Syria?
I would think "prolonged war with no victory in sight" would be nothing more than the same ole same ole in terms of news coverage. Maybe not.

By end of day June 2nd, all primaries will be done. So yeah, I am calling BS on that one.

FTR, the party of openness, transparency and democracy is canceling primaries in several States. Who knows they may cancel the primaries in the rest of the States too.So, there's that. Bill Weld and Joe Walsh's numbers can be up to 70% and it wouldn't matter.

I heard some reports that it was in the teens (sixteen comes to mind, but my memory isn't as good as it used to be) - Fortune says it's five as of 10 Oct (thank you Google!!). Regardless, any number that is not zero is shameful, especially for an incumbent who is bragging every day that he's doing the greatest job any President has ever done. Their excuse is that it saves money - that's about as lame an excuse anyone can give. It costs the States no additional money to add two lines to the ballot to an election which is already being held for other offices. Of course, Trump voters are probably swallowing this lie just like they eat up the umpteen other lies he spews each and every day.
Can't believe you have been reduced to defending the Trumpistas!

I just don't think EVerYTHinG iS A REaSOn To GeT HYSterICaL.
I'd prefer all the states have their primaries. But A. They didn't ask me and B. It doesn't matter.
I'd also prefer that the party took Drama-Queen Bill Weld at his words when he screeched that he was done with the GOP -- TWENTY-ONE years ago. I'd prefer if Bill Kristol hadn't beclowned himself by supporting Walsh and talking him into running. I'd prefer a lot of things, but they NEVER ask me.

Just a reminder that our Republican president was a Democrat 21 years ago before he recognized the GOP base for the rubes they are and ran on the GOP ticket.

Just a reminder that our Republican president was a Democrat 21 years ago before he recognized the opportunity to capitalize on the divisions and hatred fomented by more than half a century of republicans promoting bigotry and racism to the GOP base, and ran on the GOP ticket after waging a 5-year wholly racist "birther" campaign against President Obama.

Just a reminder, I specifically pointed out that Weld overtly renounced the party. But thanks for playing?

I hear there have been some changes since that happened 21 years ago. Not sure why you require people to hold the same position forever, regardless of change, although resistance to change seems to be a common theme on the right.
