Injuries and the tough schedule are a real concern. Indy was pretty healthy-this was a sneaky line. Some sharks made out in Vegas.

Worst Chiefs game in a few years. It happens. But don’t let this game deter from the feeling that KC is really freaking good.
IF healthy. Which they arent.

KC has serious line issues on both sides of the ball.

Pats go Browns, Ravens, Eagles, Cowboys, Texans and Chiefs all in a row. While not great teams all over, that’s a tough stretch. That’s where KC needs to make up ground.

They got one of the biggest weapons in football coming back next week in Hill. They’ll be just fine.

The word is out. At least until they get healthy on the o-line and get Tyreek back you play two safeties deep to protect the deep ball. Rush four, drop everyone else and be physical. Double Kelce and make a bunch of average WRs beat you.

Probably because I am frustrated but can the Chiefs be done with Watkins. Mack and Hilton play through injuries and glass Watkins makes it one play. That is a lot of money standing on the sidelines for most of his time with the Chiefs.

The concerns I had at half stayed the same.

Our oline was outmatched.
( whomever came in to replace Wylie was god awful )
Hardman is no Tyreek and if your leading receiver is a guy who was cut a month ago, you’ve got issues. Sammy Watkins is of course, Sammy Watkins—you figure he’s gonna get hurt.

Denver just took out the Chargers.

Tyreek, Chris Jones, Hitchens and Wylie need to be back for that one.

Biggest difference. Colts healthy on O. Chiefs were not healthy on D. Had 4 healthy DL from mid 3rd quarter on. Indy wore them down.

Cut Watkins next season.
I was always against the money we paid him.

( and also letting Dee Ford go so we could pay more for Clark and give up a valuable pick )

Chiefs had 3 starters ( 1 all pro ) out on defense.
4 starters ( 2 all pros ) out on offense.
And maybe worse than all that: a limping Mahomes.

Need Fischer back. Mathieu played his heart out. I have had about enough of Al Michaels. If the Colts are the new NFL, please send them back to 1957. Terrible game to watch. Terrible officiating. Terrible injuries. And 3.5 hrs of hesitation running.

The Chiefs are more than fine. The only small concern is if home field advantage is now out of the picture given NE’s weak schedule.

The officiating was fine.
They had a play that wasn’t a pick called against them and we had a face mask that wasn’t a face mask called against us.
The Colts beat us ( a hobbled version ) fair and square.

Hilton and Burdick were supposedly out. Nope. And their defensive injuries were negated by blitzing an injured line. Didn’t even matter.

Weak division doesn’t mean weak schedule. See my post above. They have a rough stretch in November and December. Brady has been awful the last few weeks.

Home field advantage doesn’t mean as much to me. When has that benefited the Chiefs.

There was a sea of yellow flags and several mistakes. My complaint is the holding in the secondary. Really staunching Mahomes.

Colts second unit might be better than ours.
Our first unit is definitely better than theirs.
They had a better QB less than a year ago and got stomped.

They’ll be favored in every game, have KC in foxboro and their schedule is certainly easier than KC’s. Which is their only competition for HFA.

I have been telling my chiefs friends often lately: ya’ll are Mahomes-drunk.

The elephant in the room though:
Has our defense improved at all?
Honey Badger looks good but our corners still look like trash.
And still getting bashed on the ground.
