There will be several Power 5 teams with sub .500 records in the tourney. It's just that kind of year.
And give me all of those as 8/9s, and the better ones as 4/5s.

Yes.
Give me that sweet 8 Rutgers v 9 Virginia kinda matchup.
And then something like Ohio State v Auburn.

As who we want to play? Or who you'll pick in brackets?

Some weaker power teams I recall playing are like NC State, Seton Hall, UConn, Clemson, a bad Michigan State team, Illinois, UNC in Kansas City.
I like those.

I know we do seem to do better against big schools. I don't know if that's supported by results over time or just perception formed by some of our losses against smaller schools. They've (power 5 schools) got more talent that the smaller schools, so part of me wonders if we aren't better against smaller schools this year. Not that anyone can stop Dok, but the mid major type schools with nobody over 6'7 really have no chance against him.
I don't really care who we play this year honestly. I don't think it's a match up issue no matter what. If we play well for 6 games we are hanging another banner.

We have also beaten a shit-ton of smaller schools. Way more than we've lost to.
It is that the middle of the pack or bubble-team like power schools have big warts that Bill and a complete team can easily expose.

You have a better feeling of how good/bad those 8/9 seeded power 5 schools are.
A 8 smaller school with a stellar record is harder to gauge, so it's more of a wild card.

Virginia beats Duke!
That means Duke should move up a couple of spots in the polls, right?

We were already. No one took the couple clowns seriously who voted for Baylor over KU right after KU beat Baylor.

If we have a tournament where Dayton, Gonzaga, and SDSU are all 1 seeds - Is that a good thing?

^^^^ Just goes to show you any team can win/lose on any day/night.
Now watch them go and win the MVC Conference Tournament.

Just goes to show you what happens when you fire your coach for screwing coeds right after they achieve one of the biggest wins in program history.
