It takes quite a piece of work to refer to dead bodies in the streets as “sour grapes”
Or to be openly gleeful at this result, generally.
Yea, I haven’t seen psych this psyched about gloating since they called the election for Trump
That was, probably not coincidentally, the last time I saw you this butt-hurt.

If it was the last time you saw me this butt-hurt, it was prob cuz that was the last time you saw me, since you only come out of the woodwork to antagonize when your perceived side is winning.

I'm talking about all of your whining and complaining. Sour. Grapes.
Yeah, I have some sour grapes. Perhaps it may partially be because the person who shot and killed my best friend has never been caught nor held accountable.
Or maybe it's partially because I have an issue with a 17 year old being able to walk the streets during a "riot" with an AR-15 while PLAYING policeman (and FAKE "emt") - because he can - and can shoot people, get away with it, and live happily ever after.
I'm sorry about your friend.
Sounds like your quarrel is with the incompetent prosecution, who filed the wrong charges for the evidence.
Thank you for your sympathy! I truly mean that.
You're 100% wrong about my quarrel but let's forget about me and my friend and get back to Rittenhouse and verdicts.
I'm not saying if I feel the jury came back with the right or wrong verdict. I admit I'm torn.
What I would like to know in regards to YOU is - if Rittenhouse was found guilty of any counts, would you have "accepted" the jury's decision/s?

You're right. Shame on me for being happy that a young man just starting out his life was able to avoid a lifetime in prison because a jury of his peers recognized which way the impartial evidence pointed and ruled accordingly. Weird.
You think you're being clever by pretending that your unabashed giddiness here is about one person's outcome. But, you're really just showing your ass.

I think he would have been rightly convicted of illegal possession of a firearm.

You are making it quite clear that, thin window-dressing aside, your unbridled joy is about things that go quite far beyond a jury reaching a verdict you think to be correct.

Really?
Do ya mean that?
Even if it meant a young man otherwise just starting out his life may have spent time in the slammer?
Lord knows the same has happened to other young men. Who otherwise had their entire lives ahead of them. For weapons charges too! Without even necessarily killing someone. And certainly without the judge tossing the charge on some technicality.
And that begs a fundamental sort of question - is it appropriate for a defendant to claim legal self-defense, with an illegal weapon?
For real though, how often do you see a defendant on trial for double homicide, directly next to/behind a judge, not cuffed or restrained or anything, just sorta hanging out together?
BTW pretty sure they were watching spongebob.

He wasn't going to be found guilty of anything.

everyone needs to remember that psych was also gleeful about cosby getting off lightly
seems so worried about the perpetrators getting to live their lives, while the victims’ lives have been ruined or lost altogether
i cringe to think how he feels about pedophile clergy…

I admit my ignorance. I assume he (or his buddy) gets his buddy's AR-15 back. Yes? No?
I assume it's been talked about why his buddy feels/felt the need to own an AR-15.
If so, anyone know why?
Am I wrong for feeling NO CITIZEN NEEDS an AR-15?

I'm not going to say what my first reaction to this was because it will incriminate me but what I will say is that I feel she needs to get her fucking head out of her ass.

personal grievances aside, what’s wrong with her statement?
what would you have preferred she say, if anything?

I have no issue with her wanting to make a statement. I think it's fantastic that she and/or her advisors felt she should make one. I have a BIG issue with her fanning flames and her hypocrisy.

Meh. I drop in every once in awhile to see if anyone actually wants to discuss issues. But, as always, you all just want your liberal echo chamber and throw a fit until dissenting voices are silenced. Sad, but not unexpected.

if only that’s all you were was a dissenting voice
you can’t even own up to your own inconsistencies/hypocrisies in this thread, and you have the gall to accuse anyone else if not wanting to have an honest discussion?
