His head hit the grass but it didn't seem that hard...who knows.
Wish him the best.
He deserves to finish this season.

I am saying if he plays, there will be people up in arms about player safety, regardless of whether he is legit cleared.
Oh, agreed. Mostly Denver, Raiders and Patriots fans.
I think a true football fan realizes that this is a generational talent and wish him well, regardless of other team loyalty.
Agreed. But not everyone is a that type of fan. There's plenty of others and they'd be the ones you'd hear from.

What I kind of think. It was no brute force to head. Just an awkward grab of the neck.

Also 99 I may have read that wrong.
I thought you were calling us A Holes for leaving the choice up to him when you might have just been calling the Browns a holes.
I was calling the browns a-holes.
Mohomie is gonna wanna play no matter what. It may be in his best interest, long term, to listen to the docs.

It’s pretty simple. If he is medically cleared he will play. If he isn’t he sits. I can almost guarantee you this isn’t the first time he has gotten knocked woozy and unfortunately it won’t be his last.

THe hit on Mahomes was vicious in real time to keep him from getting the first down, much like Sorenson's earlier. But the disturbing thing with Mahomes was being pulled and pushed down by the helmet. The high tackle may have been legal, but it was certainly a bad idea. I thought he had the wind knocked out of him by the hard contact at the time, but the helmet twisting sounds right as it is explained.

So all of this is very confusing. So he exhibited concussion like symptoms so was put in in concussion protocol? Does that mean he failed the tests in real-time on Sunday or I thought I read some where that the Chiefs held him out?
Does that mean he is now in the concussion protocol and has to be cleared through the five step process?

It was a hard tackle - but I don't think warranting a penalty.
Sorenson's tackle, by the current rules, did warrant a penalty - but I don't think every tackle that ends in helmet to helmet should - he wasn't spearing, he was doing the last thing he could do ( and he does lower his shoulder, he just doesn't know where Higgins will end up ).
In the ideal world, there should be clear targeting/spearing/leading with the helmet that causes a penalty - and that Sorenson tackle wouldn't warrant a flag.

I think he was probably bound for (or already in) the protocol the minute he was pulled for concussion-like symptoms. But if the neck thing is real, then it means he'll pass the protocol pretty easily (since, in that case, he would not have a brain injury).

They may not have known if he actually was concussed - it sure looked like it from how he got up.
My bet is he still showed some signs of being woozy, knew what the national audience saw on TV, and wanted to be sure he didn't have a concussion before sending him back out. Don't know if they could have done that in time or not.

I think Chiefs held him due to the optics of what he looked like just after.
I think he’ll be back say like Thursday and he’ll be good to go.

Just going over some of last night:
Mahomes and the Chiefs were having no issues moving the ball in the 1st.
Darrel Williams looked the part. LeVeon Bell doesn't work well in this offense. CEH will be an upgrade over both and I think he's back for Buffalo.
Hardman stepped up.
Our defense was good. Hold the Browns to 3 points in the 1st. Sneed was such a steal. Would have liked to see more pressure from our DLine ( Frank Clark cough cough ) but overall, if you limit a playoff team to 17 points, you've done your job. I hope Breeland can recover.
We should take 10 yard penalties to get Butker to 40+ yards on his kicks.
So disappointing to not cap that turnover to start the game with points.
Henne's bomb to an endzone swarming with Browns secondary was dumbfounded.
But he redeems himself with the last two plays of the game ( also pretty solid throw to start that Hill did more of the work to get ).
Officiating was alright. I think one of our holds was bogus. Browns can point their fingers all day to the missed call on Sorenson but then you think, well, Mahomes very very likely doesn't get hurt if the Browns score on that play, because then the game would have been called completely differently. The only way the Browns had a chance was because Mahomes got knocked out. He had 255 yards passing with over 20 minutes left in the game.
If Mahomes was not concussed at all, take a sigh of relief, but also, it was clear his toe was bothering him too, so have to think about how he'll practice this week.

Per Andy, 15 is officially in the concussion protocol.
Let the great head watch begin.

That was the other big one.
I mean I get the Bills looked good down the stretch, Allen is much improved and the Bills defense has gotten better as well but it is surprising how many national experts are picking the Bills tomorrow. The makeup of the Chiefs seems so much better when the stakes are the highest or when they feel slighted. I have a feeling we are going to see a Mahomes like we have never seen before.

Chiefs going to roll tomorrow. My guess is the score is closer than the game so dipshits like gutter can “put chiefs fans in their place”.

I mean, this is the an incredible Bills team coming to KC. Just a better KC team. With a better QB, better supporting cast on offense and a better defense.
Chiefs are better in all phases.
Chiefs by 14.
Run It Back goes to Tampa to play Aaron Rodgers and Co.

Buffalo has a slightly better defense.
Chiefs better offense.

CEH in, Bell out. Sammy, most likely out. 15, at least according to sources is dealing with turf toe. My guess would be Fenton is out as well because they elevated a DB from the practice squad.
Out of all of the injures this team has endured if you told me 15, Breeland and CEH would play I would take it.
