My buddy's son is playing really well - in the field and at the plate - when it matters.
Has a little Christian Braun in him too.
After this video they also have/play his HR.

SLC apparently vying for expansion team

i’ve been to the minor league Bee’s games, and while they were a blast, this area has never struck me as being a strong supporter of baseball

If the Royals can’t be average at least the Cardinals suck and the Yankees are underwhelming.

It's always fun when LSU makes the CWS. Many of their fans show up every year whether LSU makes it of not so when they do it's big fun. Went to the LSU win over Wake Forest last Wednesday. Tons of LSU fans and a really well played game. Glad to see them win it all this season. They earned it with wins over the top 2 seeds in Wake Forest and then Florida.

I went to the CWS in 2000 (LSU won the Championship). KU buddy of mine knew Skip Bertman. Was a lot of fun.
Side note - We saw Mark Prior pitch. Everyone was raving about him and his "mechanics" and how he was going to be great in MLB. Us Cubs fans know how that worked out.

Walk off HR for the World Championship. USA!
On second thought, I feel it's kind of bullshit that a kid who is 6'1 plays on a mini field.

No Cardinals?
No Yankees?
No Dodgers or Astros winning the deal and call the season good with me.

After last night's debacle, probably no Cubs.
The sad thing for MLB is no one gives a fuck about Baltimore, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, and Toronto.
I guess Baltimore is the feel good story and the flavor of the day but my guess is 90% of Americans can't name 2 players on that team.
I rooting for Baltimore to make the World Series. I don't care who makes it in the NL but I probably least want Milwaukee to make it.

Wow.
It sure looks like he got completely fucked over here ( initially ) by the justice system AND even moreso, MLB and the Dodgers.

Trevor Bauer is guilty of one thing. Being a poor judge of character. Or not caring about character.
Moral of the story is what? Don't fuck lunatics and don't be an asshole?

I still look at scores and pay attention to standings and such to try to stay interested. Even with the pitch clock and no shifts, though, I find the game barely watchable.
That’s sad for me, I once genuinely enjoyed the game.
Oh well, back to pseudo-professional college athletics!
