England v Germany will be a good one.
England pushes like crazy and Germany wants the possession.

And find themselves on the much easier side of the bracket. Really going to
Be devastating to their fan base if they do not make the finals

What? No.
England just finished their chances.
Was pretty even throughout until the beautiful build up starting and ending with Sterling.
Mueller coulda sent the game to extra but blew a fairly easy shot.

If you look at possession and that being factor, Germany looked good. They look good every game. England was much more aggressive, finished their chances and had some good lockdown defense. Clean sheet again. And against Germany, thatβs not a small feat.
Germany seemed to have 1 good chance. England peppered Neuer all game it seemed. Much more active in the opposing third while Germany sat back.

I distinctly remember three very good chances from Germany.
Timo Werner early, Havertz's volley and Mueller's big whiffer.

There were many issues that needed to be addressed after the 2018 World Cup as well.

Man I loved those early-2000s Germany sides. Klose was such a Bond villain, in every way.

Germany is where they were in 2006. Kind of in a rut, just finished 3rd at World Cup. But play has grown stale, team was really quite older. Klinsmann made that 06 team so young and they had some success.
Germany needs to realize Muller, Neuer, Kroos and Gungodan should not be mainstays of that team anymore.
They'll reload like they do every year, but for 2022 World Cup, they need to get a lot younger.

Busio to the Gold Cup Roster. Not bad for the 19 year old.
Italian clubs looking at him for summer window. Fiorentina the most notable club that has been linked to him. Parma looking at him for their Serie B season as they try to get back to Serie A.
