Biden's approval rating today is 38%

Trump's approval rating when he left office was 38%

The November 2020 email from an anguished Fox News news producer to colleagues sent up a flare amid a fusillade of false claims.

The producer warned: Fox cannot let host Jeanine Pirro back on the air. She is pulling conspiracy theories from dark corners of the Web to justify then-President Donald Trump's lies that the election had been stolen from him. The existence of the email, confirmed by two people with direct knowledge of it, is first publicly disclosed by NPR in this story. Fox News declined comment.

Pirro was far from alone in broadcasting such false claims. In the weeks that followed Election Day 2020, other prominent Fox stars, commentators and their guests heavily promoted them...

This is why Steve Bannon's "just pump as much shit down the pipe" philosophy works. At some point, people get more sick of hearing about the investigations into all of the illegal, immoral, repulsive behavior than they do in the actual behavior.

Our government would crawl to a complete halt if it investigated all of the abuses of power performed by Trump. The volume of it is simply too much to handle.

Trump did tell one truth. He ran our country just like he runs all of his businesses.

I have no issue with investigations if they are needed. It's the wild goose chase ones that I grow tired of.

I don't know the solution to the problem. It's hard to know which anonymous sources to believe. Or which allegations made in books are true.

Why didn't the parties involved bring this to the attention of the authorities? Why is it only coming out in a book a handful of years later?

You seem to assume that all of them are wild goose chase fishing expeditions at first and then morph into seeing their value once more details emerge.

And it isn't just coming out now. It was just another turd in the fire hose blast of raw sewage that was the Trump administration.

You assuming this is just coming out now just proves my point that their process to flood us with shit worked.

The corruption of Democracy and Democratic values is complete. The Trumpistas have proved that it’s possible to boil a frog to death by putting it in cold water and turning the heat slowly.

Saw this morning that Trump has a 30+% approval rating. I suppose it’s possible given that cockroaches have a double digit approval. Who are these people? Maybe what we’re seeing on this board is a true microcosm.

You don't get to the CEO level of a major news media corporation without having a thorough understanding of your target audience.

Fox is facing billions of dollars worth of lawsuits about all this.

The fact top Fox executives gave these sorts of warnings only bolsters the plaintiff's arguments.

What I'm curious about is, how top leadership seemed to be against the crazies, yet the Fox News crazy train kept chugging right along just the same

Just goes to show how many layers of bureaucracy there are between the CEO and the people who actually put the content out on the air. And they don't seems as much "against" crazies as they are aware of them.

Or whether the CEOs comments were just some sorta lip service, cuz she knew Fox News's bread and butter all along is pandering to the crazies.

or perhaps in some bigger picture, it makes me curious about whether big corporations even need things like CEOs.

Good for Hannity.

Try and count how many times Boebert blinks when she's talking.

That was so juvenile of Hannity. "Why is it time for McCarthy to stop and not you"? Because McCarthy is the one seeking the position, dipshit. He isn't going to get it without caving in and giving these doofuses something big. But I doubt they even know what to ask for. They seem to just be performing as contrarians for the sake of it.

The GOP courted idiots like Boebert to join Congress. Now they are finding out what a mistake that was.
