Now go find some bill that a bunch of Democrats voted against, like naming a school for Nathan Bedford Forrest, to prove that both sides are the same.

Or you could continue to promote the unsubstantiated idea that "your" politicians are unified, unbroken, untainted, pure and honest beacons of trust, hope and fairness. Not also bought and paid for pawns with hypocritical agendas.

Either way.

I suppose that response is what I would have expected when “your” politicians’ last stand is White Supremacy and standing in the way of helping people - driven by the realization that the only way to hang on to power is by preventing people from voting.

Hope youve got that horse still and trained well. He sure is tall.

By the way, my alluding to "your" and why it was in quotations is because this divided team bullshit is ridiculous and needs to stop. My dislike of politicians isnt based on the letter, i dont like many of them at all. This team game everyone is playing now does nothing but divide and hasten demise.

At one end of the racism awareness spectrum is a point titled "people who see racism in everything" and at the other end is "people who see racism in nothing" and the reality is that the truth exists in between the two endpoints. Problems happen when people on the endpoints seem to see anyone not on their same end point as people who can only be on the other endpoint. Neither endpoint is right about any of it.

Can't exactly give them a Medal of Honor for an event you are describing as a minimal thing.

The reasons they gave for voting no are just...lovely. Disagreed with referring to the Capital as a 'temple' of democracy, along with describing the events of January 6th as an 'insurrection'.

J.F.C.

You can take the stance you dislike most/all politicians, but there's definitely a ranking system. These 21 have to be at the top of the list. And not just for this no vote. There's politicians who seem to muddy the waters when we need real solutions, and then there are the ones who actively work to make sure the government never functions. The 21 list above do just that.

Choosing this bill as the hill to die on is fucking stupid. Well, all of the shit they do is stupid...this is just more stupid.

But this isn't a hill they are dying on. No vote, not matter how appalling, has proven to be that. The only thing a Republican can do that has proven to be the death of their political career is to vote against Donald Trump.

This is the evidence of utter cattle excrement that passes for discourse and results in absolutely nothing. Yeah, you hate politics and politicians. Do you know what a world without politicians is called? A Dictatorship.

In a democratic society politicians is how we govern ourselves. When one side is utterly incapable of participating in the governing process we call them out and kick them out of office. We don’t clutch pearls and bothsider it.

While there are individual exceptions, one side is a serious barrier to getting anything done. They are a serious threat to democratic society. Only one side is more motivated to thwart the President than actually helping people. It is NOT a both-sides problem.

Lets see.

On one hand a person says most politicians suck, stop the team thing.

On the other hand its someone yelling bullshit, you're wrong. This is how we do it, this is how its done. They are the problem, you are the problem and a product of the problem....and screaming "democracyyy"

Which side is maga again?

If that’s what you got from my post and it makes you feel better about it then it says more about you than about me.

My point remains- what is YOUR solution? All you have been saying is how politicians are bad and both sides do it. You have only been throwing platitudes.

You still can’t refute the fact that one side is clearly useless in governing, and is proving it every day. Unfortunately you are upset that it’s the side you mostly support. I’m not looking down on anyone or anything.

You continue to pretend to know what i support. You continue to staunchly believe that you are 100% and totally correct.....in your assumptions and in your solutions.

It could say something about me or it could say that you have an incredibly low level of self awareness.

I don’t think the other side is particularly effective at governing either, but they at least kind of pretend to have certain principles to try and stick to about it

but not really.

But that’s not to discount the fact the one side is pretty shamelessly lacking in good faith
