A top 20 overall high school recruit just announced a transfer to Kansas today.

not sure of his eligibility. But a big guy who played in 26 games over 3+ years in Wisconsin. Started 3 of the teams first 6 games this year. Chryst got fired and he put his name in portal soon after.

He’ll likely be the LT next year after Bostick leaves.

I would think there's more to the story and relationship to someone getting kicked off the team if the coach is citing an in-practice hit of a teammate. I'd be more concerned about what was already going on where that was the final straw.

Regardless, if our staff wants him, I want him.

Maybe just an interim coach trying to show he is a rule stickler, especially if a knock on his predecessor was being a little more lax on such things. Who knows. I trust that Leipold can get that straightened up if it is an issue.
