I don't think markieff has officially signed with the lakers yet. but they waived demarcus cousins to clear a roster spot. looks like the morris twins will end up on opposite sides of the battle for LA
What some of the ESPN NBA people have floated is that they may try to pair him and their 1st round pick for an established all star caliber veteran player. I'm not sure who that could be, or if it's even true, but it's been mentioned a few times that I've seen....but to be honest there's no way they've made up their mind yet. At worst they look at this as a half season to try it out. His contract won't be that hard to move (again) once the cap/ max salary adjust (again).
I could see it playing out either way. It's really a no lose situation for GS. They already knew deangelo was never going to be long term with a backcourt of Steph and Klay is healthy, so might as well take a shot in Wiggins for half a season or more and see if he excels with them.

I overthink things. Therefore, while I do believe it's genuine, I also wonder if there is a possibility that Kerr, Dray, and others have ulterior motives in hyping Wiggins.

I'd put more stock in what Golden state is saying than the dumbasses on espn floating ideas around. and the common sense aspect of it. like the fact that they genuinely need a player to fill the role they are talking about using him in

"Tay Tay" is almost as bad as "Vonte".

Tay Tay is Taylor Swift. She might be a better shooter than Devonte' is.
Dude blew again last night. 1-10 fg, 0-3 3pt. 6 points. He did have 2 assists, 2 steals, a rebound, and a block.
Cus didn't help his Clippers last night. Had a poor game. 6 points and 2 rebounds. 5 turnovers.
Joel had a fair game (by his standards) in a loss. 17 points, 11 boards, 6 assists, a steal, and a block.
Ben had 12 points and 4 rebounds in 13 minutes.
Kelly had 14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals.

Simmons left game early in 1st quarter with lingering back issues....if he is out for an extended period of time Embiid going to have to put up huge numbers with him out to keep them from falling out of their playoff position.

If I am not mistaken, they are 5th in the East.
Probably doesn't really matter if they are 5, 6, 7 or 8.

morris twins officially reunited in LA. albeit on opposite teams. marcus joked if the lakers and clippers play each other in the playoffs he could still see him and markieff living together and carpooling to go play against each other
Does this count as Jayhawks in the NBA?? Dude looks like he just woke up after passing out on the floor of the bar.

Of note, Frank Mason had 36 points in the loss.
Selfishly I hope he stays on the Herd for another month as I want to see him when the Herd travels to Portland.

Fantastic game from the self proclaimed best player in the world.
The "hilarious" post game interview was in reference to him flipping off the Hawks player who stole the ball from him at the end of the game.
Between the swearing and the flipping of the bird, Joel may be paying the NBA some $.
